Bonsoir,

At exactly 0554 hours, the Numidie was launched from Lausanne Complex to rendezvous with patrol Didier-2 at the far end of the minefield. We discovered a modular installation squawking an IDF Shipping IFF and the name The Hidden Palace. The quarantine-violating installation was being orbited by a Valor-class with a GNI IFF and designation of SDF-Nanosinx. Our patrol was joined by DoEE "DUKE" in a snubcraft as we were questioning the capitaine of the Nanosinx regarding the affiliations of the modular and said capitaine's dealings with them.

The capitaine provided "DUKE" with a direct line of contact to the administration of the installation. "DUKE" docked with le palais caché and spoke with the installation's quartermaster, confirming no further illegal or dangerous activity beyond the breach of quarantine. It was at this time we were joined by MAR de VILLIERS aboard the GNIS Saint Amant, and all engaged in appropriate socially-mandated pleasantries and formalities. Shortly thereafter, analyst ATTILA and suspected pied-noir unit ALSACNCE appeared on-scene, with suspected pied-noir leaving without significant social engagement.

INT BOUDICCA, MAR de VILLIERS, and DoEE "DUKE" reached internal agreement to pressure administration of The Hidden Palace to turn over the majority of the installation's operations to the GNI, with DSIR playing a leading role so as to properly maintain Lausanne's quarantine. Captain of SDF-Nanosinx informed all GNI assets present of attacks by either rogue Royalists or pieds-noirs upon Gallic miners within molybdenum field. INT BOUDICCA assigned investigation of this matter to SIO ANDARTA over internal TACCOM. At this point, all dispersed, with DSIR assets entering formation and heading toward the Champagne gate.

DSIR assets encountered a Type I "Barge"-type vessel squawking IFF of Liberty pharma corp Cryer Pharmaceuticals, name Adria Express. Of special note, the "Barge"-type vessel was carrying over two dozen thousand pallets of military-grade light arms, likely military surplus offloaded onto Liberty's civilian market post-war. While initially frustrated with our order to halt for scanning, the radio operator quickly became very talkative — even friendly. We enforced an escort onto the Adria Express, and all DSIR units entered formation around the megaship. Said RO informed us that the cargo was bound for Battleship Cassard, and that the entirety of the vessel operates on a skeleton crew of approximately one-hundred hands due to severe budget cuts and mismanagement within Cryer's corporate hierarchy. RO repeatedly expressed that their treatment at our hands far surpassed that of Liberty's authorities in terms of security, courtesy, and professionalism. At the conclusion of the Adria Express's route in Champagne near Planet Sedan, all DSIR assets escorted it via jump-drive to Zurich, at which point the megaship departed for Cologne.

All DSIR assets returned to Lausanne, and the Numidie put in for scanner and radio transponder reconfig. I entered my XJ-3 and flew a quick patrol to Champagne, where I encountered a Rheinland cruiser christened Einbeck. It clearly bore the touch of our estranged cousins. I am appending blackbox logs with my best transcription of housemate-cousin communication. Note well the communications our respective housemates shared, for Manaat and I believe it to be of vital importance in the cycles to come.
