I'm not even mad you chose a bunch of deluded technofreaks over Viper. I guess she spoke too highly of you and I was too dumb to listen to her. I'll still ask. Are you absolutely sure you want the Platform to walk this path? Because there's no coming back.
With how talks have been going I'm assuming you know there's larger threats than Valhalla lying around.
"Test the sharpness of your sword against another. And when that is not enough, unsheathe your cunning as the hidden dagger that ends the fight."
"For someone who said very few words to me, you seem to get my attention like you put your foot in the door.
"I think you need to take at heart of who I might be, because I very much doubt Viper has the full story... I'm sure there are a few others that can fill you in on that story but you'll need to ask those that haven't branded you for the manipulative bastard that I've heard you to be; although maybe that would be a one sided tale too.
You're under the assumption that whatever I'm dragging the Platform in won't come to them first if they're ignorant enough? Look how close they are to that hell hole. I'm not standing by anymore to pretend that they're not worthy of that protection... Because the 'state' won't give that protection to them, will they?
And the technocracy? Saying I'm teaming up with them is a extreme miscalculation. Don't ask me if I think something is worth it, especially when I've never been more assured.

Manipulative...that's funny. Doesn't mean I haven't heard of that slander, though. That's what people call you when you have a different vision. When their friends become your friends, because you suddenly make more sense than your counterpart. Tyrant, snake, psychopath, maniac, animal - I've heard them all. I didn't ask to turn out the way that I did, alas, I deserve some of those titles. I've done terrible things to survive in this world and I won't deny it.
I like to believe that if gave you my side of the story, you'll be more able to tell what's what in this long war against forces far greater than ours. Mine, yours, the Technocracy's. This isn't the type of story that ends well if we all unite under the umbrella of 'friendship'. You can only hope that when the dust settles your lungs can still draw breath. Then again, I might already be a cancer in your eyes so my words would mean nothing.
Whatever's threatening the near-entirety of Sirius relies on memetic information. They are less likely to attack your people as a whole if they don't know anything or become involved to begin with. Instead they will focus on the bigger fish. Those who know.
You shot me and Viper alongside the technofreaks. The way I see it you are friends. Feel free to prove me otherwise though.
"Test the sharpness of your sword against another. And when that is not enough, unsheathe your cunning as the hidden dagger that ends the fight."
"Hmm, I always understood actions have different perceptions with chain reactions from others judgement. I never shot you, I was more concerned about restraining Viper to her ejection pod... Live another day. Anyhow--
"To turn around to a people who live here, told it's not their problem and their ignorance is rewarding is certainly a message I've heard repeated over and over from authorities that serve misery on a silver platter... If it's anything you've heard, maybe you can assemble the puzzle of what you've been told about me and conclude I was complicit in upholding that message. I've certainly deserved some tiles spewed at me too... But, I'm not going to flourish in such evil, nor am I going to let that rest on my shoulders.
"With that effort I feel like your comment about my lungs had me thinking... They've certainly gotten used to the ash in the air. Admittedly I think maybe it's comforting to know I'll finally have a quiet and silent death one day, I don't exactly think a majority of my history and influences are worthy of immortalising. So who knows? Maybe I'm just trying to fix as much as I can before I do.
"So count me and the technocracy as 'friends' if you wish, maybe my perception of individuals isn't shared like yours. And seeing you as a cancer? No, no... Don't believe I've made an assumption just yet, there is a very low bar around here.
"Besides, what are you trying to do, stop me?"

Now why would it matter whether I would try to stop you or not? We're all headed in the same direction anyway. At the end of the day we all want the same thing, but in different capacity. The only real reason why there are two sides of this petty fight between myself and the technocrats is failure of communication and lack of trust. Revenant and I have a years' long relationship that started with admiration, curiosity and a certain bond nobody could break. Not even us. All of that has been replaced with distrust, hatred and skepticism. Understandably so, as we caused great harm to one another whether we wanted or not.
Nowadays its either one side trying to mend this relationship, while the other aims to break it even more. We've gone through this cycle countless times. I tried. Then she tried. Then I tried again. Then she tried again. I'm not interested in causing massive bloodshed or a cataclysm - despite current appearances. And I'm certainly not interested in hurting third parties for being reasonably concerned about the safety of their position in this Sector.
You and the technocrats can be friends or enemies for all I care. I only ask you for the courtesy of not playing around too much with forces that target both humanity and the Nomads at the same time. I won't name them, but you'll recognize the bastards once you see them.
Be a beacon.
