We need more promotional screenshots for 4.85 release. Since few of the dev team have time to do it, I'm posting the request here. Hopefully some of the players could take some screenshots that match requirements.
Shots that don't match those requirements are not necessary and won't be used.
Ok, here's what we need:
1) Content:
Displaying a new or updated location, new or updated ship.
Nice to have:
New weapon effects, new NPC patrols on the background.
2) Resolution:
Only 1024x768 and 1280x1024.
3) Screen elements:
Minimized HUD (using black stripes to replace HUD is NOT recommended).
No chat
No selected players
Preferably no players at all (except if you are intentionally taking pic of another player's ship or a group of players)
4) Quality:
No less than 80% JPEG quality. 90% recommended.
Using PMG and (especially) BMP formats is a bad idea.
5) Hosting:
Imageshack or Photobucket or whatever file host you can find. DO NOT attach files to the forum. DO NOT use hosts that convert images to Flash.
Post links to your pics in this thread. This isn't actually a screenshot contest, but we'll make sure that active contributors will get some sort of in-game rewards.
