The Hessians have long admired the resilience and resourcefulness of the Guild against the Imperialist grip of the military, and it is in this very spirit of mutual respect that we reach out to you today. With the recent aggression shown by the Federal Empire and its rabid corporations against both our factions and their sovereignty, we propose exploring potential avenues for cooperation against the common threat . . .
. . .
. . .
In a sudden outburst, Reinhardt hits the metal desk with his fist, a resonant thud can be heard echoing through the room. "Verdammte Scheiße! What the f*ck is this?" he roared, his voice filled with annoyance. "Too polite, too vague! We need to be direct, not grovel like worms!"
Listen up you lot, we want to make a deal against the Kaiser's dogs. Sound good? Let's make something happen.
Few have directly experienced the blight of misplaced Rheinland imperialism almost permanently pervasive throughout much of its governments and corporate leash-holders, as the Red Hessians and Gas Miners Guild have over the centuries. We face the same struggles, for the same reasons.
It would stand to reason we should cooperate.
The Guild does not operate militarily outside of the Sigma Systems and does not wish to enter another direct war with House Rheinland, thus cannot engage in military strikes in Rheinland house space. It will, however, continue to defends its sovereign space from any incursions, be they from the Rheinland Military or the likes of Kruger Minerals. The Red Hessians face no restrictions on entering Guild space outside of the universally-applied Guild laws and should we meet there, then by all means we may cooperate directly.
Should it be of assistance to Hessian activities in other regions, GMG has significant monetary and logistical resources it is able to apply. If there are facets of Hessian operations that would benefit from fuel, arms, supplies, funds or training that The Guild can commit, then they can be provided with a view to advancing our mutual goals against our mutual enemies.
We do point out that discretion in all matters would be of the utmost importance. The enemy cannot take action against an arrangement they are not aware of, and the privacy of our collaboration would be its greatest strength.
I'm glad the Guild is open to cooperation with us. Despite the many rumors you might have come across about the Hessians, we are .. err, a cosmopolitan group let's say. The Front specifically operates more as a militarized force with clear duties and severe punishment against dissent. You can count on our word for any agreement we end up making.
Let's get to the point, the endless greed that pervades throughout Rheinland's ruling class and its corporations. As I view it, there's only a matter of time until the pigs advising the Kaiser start scheming for more, history has shown time and time again where their interests lie. The past power plays in the Sigmas and the Omegas alike have brought only misery to both our groups.
I think it's time to take a proactive stance against Imperial incursions into our domains. We can very well cooperate militarily without ever meeting in space. Simply put, should the Military deploy against Guild interests in the Sigmas, the Hessians pledge to conduct heavy attacks against Kruger and Daumann operations in Omega-7 and Omega-11. In turn, we expect the Gas Miners to reciprocate the same measures against Rheinland assets in Sigma-15 should another Dresden invasion be greenlighted. I'm aware this may sound trivial but we're positive the Imperial fleet wont be able to commit against both sides at once given their recent losses, we shouldn't give them a moment of respite to freely exploit either of us.
In terms of direct aid, far be it from to say the Hessians do not need it in these times. I propose we establish a H-fuel smuggling operation, allow our ships to buy and distribute the fuel on the Rheinland and Bretonian blackmarkets, this will greatly improve on our current precarious economic situation and revitalize our shipbuilding potential.
I am certain the Buro dogs already suspect we might collaborate due to our recent joint scuffles against them in Frankfurt. Our men will have direct orders to jettison and destroy the fuel in the unlikely event of an interception or prop the Bundshuch as our suppliers.
