Turns out that you are correct about to worry about the sudden spike of activity made by those LSF and Crayter ships. The technocrats have confirmed that LSF is moving in using similar rhetoric when they attacked the Zoner population on Erie. The Republic is continuing with it's classic lap dog routine and providing assistance to Liberty. The possibility of losing Inverness to the Houses is unfortunately likely. Cerise as you can guess that would set a extremely dangerous precedent. We can only hope that the Zoners and technocrats can kick them out.

To keep an eye on this situation as it develops the Palau would need to disregard the advisory notice and stick around in the system. This is asking you to risk the lives of the ships crew and yours too. If this mission is in your opinion too dangerous you can refuse it.

These developments, whichever way they lead, will certainly have important implications for the Guild's remaining operations in Magellan. Even with the loss of Freeport 4, our water-ice miners there are still the livelihood of around a hundred of our people. Were we to do a simple cost-benefit analysis, we would certainly say this is not worth the expense of our continued presence in the area, but of course this is not the sort of organization that we are.

Each and every mate on the Palau wishes most sincerely to do what is best for the Guild. If that means monitoring the situation within Invernesse then here we shall remain. My request, then, is for a pair of escort fighters to be deployed for our protection, or failing that, a financial disbursement for provisional hiring of mercenaries on-sight for purely defensive purposes. Our most recent restock at Singapore has left us with more than enough supplies to hold a position within the Coronado/Inverness/Ontario cluster for up to two months if needed, but our financial reserves are running rather low.
