I’m reaching out with a request for special access to the gold mining fields in Dublin. Our plan is to extract ore from one or two asteroids for a scientific project. We can bring in a Hegemon-class mining vessel to handle the work, or, if it’s easier, we’d be happy to work with one of your skilled miners to get the samples we need.
You might be wondering why we’re doing this. In short, we’re after pristine asteroid samples to help us study the ancient history of Sirius. These rocks have been out there for ages, and they could hold some fascinating clues about the past.
Let us know what kind of compensation you’d consider fair for granting us access and lending a hand with this.

With all due respect to the Phoenix and to you personally, we are not able to handle your request for access as we do not hold authority over the Dublin mining fields, in neither a de jure or de facto capacity. That would lie with the Republican Provisional Assembly, at least in the de facto degree for the most part. That being said, I could possibly spare some sort of escort to and from the system given the.. contested status.
That being said, we'd like to learn more if we do go ahead with this.

Regrettably, as mentioned previously, we attempted to contact them without success. It appears the situation in Dublin has kept them quite preoccupied.

To elaborate on our intended approach:
Plan A, if you have a Hegemon available in Dublin,
We will travel to Dublin via the Omega-48 system, departing from Gran Canaria. The convoy will include a scientific vessel from the Starfliers and an escort provided by my Corvo.
Upon reaching the designated field, your miner will crack open two asteroids, allowing the Starflier vessel to safely collect a few floating samples from each.
Once the collection is complete, we will promptly return to Omega-48.
Plan B is more or less the same. We will bring a Hegemon of our own to Dublin and, under your supervision, extract samples by cracking open the asteroids ourselves.
Please note that all ore collected during this operation will remain unrefined and solely used for scientific research.
We are conducting similar studies across Sirius and may reach out to you again regarding other mining fields, preferably in less hazardous regions.
