MNS-Marsa has been sanctioned for:
Quote:1.0 - Don't be a dick. It's a game, try to keep it fun for everyone playing it. Behavior that falls within the technical letter of the rules but not the spirit won't be tolerated.
2.4 - Terms used in IDs: "Piracy" - a reasonable demand issued to a ship which can be attacked if it fails to comply. Piracy can include requests for credits and cargo or a roleplay requirement, such as following a instruction or answering a question.
Consequences:
Piracy is a mechanic we want players to engage in as much they can but we also want it to be kept at a fun and reasonable level. Being outright mean about it and just wanting to be a nuisance about it ain't gonna cut it, so please stick to reasonable demands and reasonable behavior in further encounters. Since you have deleted the ship, we have taken 3 Million from GMS|Bufflonne
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
Alright. We should discuss this a little bit. What an outcast should do when they see and IMG on "their territory"?
1. Kill them
2. Ask to drop cargo and let them leave with only that
3. Run if you see IMG, they are the greatest warriors and plus you could get sanctioned if you pirate them

Hello @Vlad , I would like to offer you the explanation since you have asked for it.
Firstly we should acknowledge that most likely then not, by all role play considerations IMG and Outcasts should just shoot each other on the spot, however I believe that we can all agree that this here is a game and we all want to have fun. Being in a constant state of fear that you have the change to lose all your time you've spend mining or trading ores or commodities makes the game less fun then it should be, and people will turn away from that, and on the other side you as the pirate will be left without any type of interactions or people to kill. I guess it boils down to eventually we will all log odd hours and afk trade with nothing else to do.
Piracy has been brought to a place were we have started to act upon a thing called " Reasonable Piracy Demand" . What that basically entails is that the demands you make should be doable and just a bit more incentive then just him saying " Go ahead and kill me" which is much more of an ooRP disappointment then anything else, and we don't want that and I am fairly sure nobody wants that to happen, to have a game that's not fair or fun. I personally love the concept of piracy and I have engaged in piracy in very different ways, i have even let people talk their way out of stuff, I have made offers like escorting them out, or just taken their cargo instead of their money.
In conclusion what you did was not a reasonable demand. Insisting that a trader drop all their cargo solely so that you can blow it up and laugh at them is not something which benefits you, is something which discourages other players from ever interacting with you (thus ruining your future gameplay experience as well as theirs), and in fact actively harms both your ingame bank account (even without the sanction) and frustrates the trader. This behavior is more akin to ooRP bullying than it is roleplaying.
And I'd love if you get one major take away from this whole thing and one alone, and in future you will do piracy but this will be in the back of your head:
"Piracy demands should not be engagement lines in disguise."
