I'd be grateful for any help or suggestions with this issue please -
One account in DSLauncher, entitled 'Santiago Suarez' fails to access the charcater/ship files, while other accounts alongside it in DSLauncher load the character/ship files and run just fine.
For the one account that doesn't work, here's how things play out - I select the account name, it is highlighted the bottom of DSLauncher as per normal.
I then click on 'Launch Game' and the normal FL menu screen opens, I click on 'Multi Player' and then select the Discovery server...
...it tries to load for a few seconds then offers me the following error message:
"The connection to the server has been lost. Either the server you were connected to has crashed, or your Internet connection to that server is not working. This is usually an intermittant problem. Please try again later."
I have uninstalled DSLauncher and the FL Game, cleared all files and registry entries with CCleaner, rebooted and reinstalled. Same issue, this one account on DSLauncher brings up the error message, the other accounts operate as normal and go straight into the game.
I have waited to see if an ION Storm/server reboot would help, however, no change, the same error message.
Thoughts - I did a 'droprep' command on one of the charcater/shap names in the Santiago Suarez DSLauncher account, however when time came to log into the character/ship name later, I was confronted with the error message and I cannot seem to fix it. As mentioend the other DSLauncher accounts work fine, it is just the 'Santiago Suarez' account that generates the error message.
