just optical enhancement - like the lost battlestar. - an admin base without further purpose but to store outdated stuff.

i think there are not enough "landmarks" hidden in discovery to actual discover... . since the normal player cannot dock there - such a "wreck" can get a nice little short story to add lore ( doesn t need to be dom kavosh thingy )

i d even move it into the tekalau ( or whatever name it was ) nebula - so for daring pilots that just want to explore - there would be something to explore. ( of course such a "model" gets the 20 or so turrets that the lost battlestar has, too )

That's something I completely agree with Jinx, Discovery could do with more things to just..discover.
I be working on a few Nomad/Dom Ka'vosh related things in relation to that.

Discover, and drop loot. Experience new things, see new NPC. New commodities, more accessible guns. More interesting short stories in wreckage and stations.

You know. That reminds me of that junction wreck in Kansas.

It's an awesome idea. But it's pretty stupid. There's no clue around to what it was. It's just a mystery. It's here, and it's here and that's it. No trail leading to another wreck, to another station with a npc giving you rumour on what hapenned or a wreck dropping a journal leading to a special place. Nothing.

Discover new planets - sure. Make it interesting, dynamic too, will be even better.
