I have two computers with Discovery loaded; my main computer with a dual boot Ubuntu/Windows 98 operating system and my laptop with Windows XP. On my laptop, I am able to see all equipment descriptions and all Discovery unique information but on my Win 98 computer, I cannot see the descriptions of any non original items. I have reinstalled the vanilla version several times, adding the mod exclusively afterwards. The mod works but it is very difficult to know who's who, what bribes to make and what equipment to buy with blank descriptions. If anyone has experience this and have a solution, please share it with me.

Thanks,

Have you tried downloading and re-installing the mod in addition to the game? May want to try to re-install FLMM as well.

My solution to this problem was:

Update to a supported operating system...i.e., Windows XP.

I updated over the weekend and after a few tweaks of the display driver, all is well. Goodbye Windows 98 SE...

Thanks for the support everyone.

PS. I have a dual boot system but have not try to install this item in Ubuntu Linux. It may work there too!
