ok, as far as me using a train versus anything else there are several reasons for this:
1-i checked this ship list, and being an outcast the ONLY recomended transport is the border worlds transport. the p-train says other pirate factions. http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...p;hl=broadsword
2-i dont spend much time in the border worlds being that i smuggle cardimine into liberty space, so a borderworld transport didnt seem like a great fit.
3-it also is over the 3000 cargo space rule. and even though i know that doesnt apply to me specifically because i have outcast id and tag, id rather stay at or under 3000 just so i dont ruffle any feathers online. and smuggling ships shouldnt be HUGE anyways, i like the rule itself so why not follow it anyways? the regular train is 3000 cargo
4-smuggling in a ship that says IMA PIRATE seems almost OORP, no sefl respecting smuggler ever does something like that to draw attention to themselves. the train is like a white semi that if searched, may have some suprises inside. but for game purposes, everyone knows i am a smuggler with my id and tag so its not like im REALLY hiding anything.
5-the train also fits my rp story as being a freelancing "truck driver" if you will doing runs for ageira and ic, that would take money from pirates to look the other way while they snuck cardi into the cargo hold. and then gradually going more and more to smuggling till thats all i do cause i make more money that way than from ageira and ic.
-as far as the pods themselves, two of them were destroyed by bounty hunters and was just looking to replace them.

6-if your ship is this big you wont be able to move into house space without 3 battleships after you, they love overkill.

hypothetical situation
You are finally going into liberty after your long trip. You happen upon a ridiculously large liberty navy player base that LOVES to sick the entire fleet on a single fighter, yes I have seen this a few times. Your train will become a pretty large target very fast.
I do have one thing to say: Kudos on not doing this as a zoner or lawful. Do you know how many zoner and police power traders there are? I saw one today in omicron minor hauling a massive number of slaves from omicron delta into fuchu prison through ALASKA. This guy was using a liberty ID in order to powertrade through alaska.
