Mercenary character questions.

Hi,

I'm setting up a mercenary character and I have a few questions about it.

First, I plan to use a praetorian bomber with mercenary ID, should I use the freelancer IFF ?
If so, can I go where I want with it ? (I know the outcasts won't like it though)

Once everything is set ingame, I'll write the RP story.

I think maybe you should use a Corsair ID, if you intend to use their equipment. That would mark your affiliation as a mercenary working (mostly) with the Corsairs. It's just like with the Pirate ID.. if you have it and Freelancer IFF, use Civillian equipment.

I decided to take a roc to avoid any confusion along with a freelancer ID.

Good choice, the Roc is an excellent ship. Have fun with it.

you dont need freelancer iff to be a mercenary.

however, if you are willing to take the time, its worth it to get it.

and with the roc you can go anyway.
