Gots a couple questions here..

1. I see cargo pods for sale here and there in various colors. What exactly do these do? Do they add cargo space? just for decoration? nothing at all?

2. I see carriers for sale as capital ships. In the descriptions it says they launch fighters.. do they? or is this only a RP thing?

3. To date I have never shot down a ship. I am a pure trader.. well ok once but they shot first.. but anyhoo.. some how I am HATED by Liberty Navy Guard... yet neutral with everyone else including the standard Liberty Navy (except xenos they hate me too for some reason).. what could I have done to piss off the Liberty Navy Guard? I've run no missions anywhere, Never smuggled contra band and have ZERO idea why I am hated by them.

4. I have been looking around but can't find one if it exists.. is there a straight up TRADER ID? not bound to any company just normal trader?

5. Last of all..How much profit does the best trade route in the game bring you? Not asking what it is (hey unless you want to tell me!) Im just curious how the ones I have found and am running stack up. Is it the "diamond" run i keep hearing about? I see people mention it constantly but no clue what that one is.

thanks all!

They are for decoration but might save you from a nova shot one day.

Only a RP thing

All new players start out hostile to all guards and Xenos, nomads, phantoms, wilde by default. You can increse a factions guard rep by doing a lot of missions of the normal faction or bribing.

There is one, Generic Trader ID, but you cant have anything bigger then ~3k cargo..i think. Dunno where its sold tho. Try Manhattan and Newark

12 million per run. tho find one yourself heh. But the diamond run was good back in 4.84, the Diamond-Neubeum run, the godlike paradise of all pirates in S13.

Awesome thank you! Thank answered evertyhing!

As for the trade route thats pretty steep. I'm pulling in about 2 mil per run in my Camara (620 cargo I think?).. so assuming i do the same run when I am using a 3500-5000 cargo ship I might be near that mark. Best thing is it only takes about 10-12 mins do do the round trip run heh heh..
Thanks again for the info!
Smooth sailing and clear skies!
