3.1 Using coarse language, posting abusive, hateful, racist content in chat, public or private, is prohibited under any circumstances.
3.2 Flaming, threats and insulting (in any form) other members, factions, server administrators in chat, public or private, is prohibited on server and on forums. RP-related threats are allowed on the server.
Consequences :
A visit to Bastille for 7 days. All credits removed to pay for the room.

As you seem to be a new player, you are only in Bastille for a week rather than being banned for 14 days. Do not swear. Swearing and out of roleplay insults in any form are not permitted. Don't do it.
For your information, the ships that destroyed your friend are not required to say the words "ENGAGING NOW" prior to shooting. The requirement is for roleplay and that is what they did. Indeed using the words "ENGAGING NOW" in place of roleplay is considered very poor form, frowned upon and is generally said by only the roleplay challenged.
