LPI-Henry.Murdoch[O] has been warned owing to a report posted for:
Quote:5.2 All attacks must be the result of some form of role play. "Engaging" is not sufficient. An attack is any hostile action that drains shields to less than 50%. Being hit with a CD is not considered an attack. If a player is attacked he has a right to defend himself regardless of who is attacking.
Consequences: ENGAGING doesn't cut the mustard, even if you're joining a group fight. Yes there were a lot of people and yes the fight was wide ranging, that doesn't provide you with an excuse.
If you had initiated the fight with that I'd be stripping you to the bone. Next time I will regardless.
Now, your evening reading

Dear fellows,
as you all probably know, I didn't excel in the matter of safe investing recently, and I am desperately working to get all my lost money back. But my usual trading destinations are full of pirates these days, mostly those bloody Corsairs who tricked me...ah... I don't want to get mad...not again..
Anyway, while I was seeking for new trading opportunities, I met a guy at the bar on Cambridge and he sent me to his friend who was quite acquainted with this stuff. This 'friend' who called himself Frozen offered to show me a pretty profitable route. Well, his price was high, it cost me 35 mils, but considering he was starting at 60, I think this deal was quite reasonable. And the route! It's one of the most profitable ones I have ever flown. Yes, there is some bribing needed and also you will need those coffee cartons, but the profit is what matters.
Mr. Murdoch, I've seen the evidence provided against you, and while it is disappointing it is a mistake which is easy to make.
When approaching any kind of PVP situation, you will want to do a few things.
First things first, stop where you are and scan the area. Try and determine what forces are at play, and if your allies need help.
If they do, you may join the battle, but first.... you will want to announce your presence. Tell your allies you are here to help etc, best rule of thumb is try and get a good 2-3 lines of text in, at the very least before you move in to fight, always declaring it, simply "engaging" has been deemed inappropriate.
Now lets say the fight is even, you then may wish to move to a safe distance and watch. From there you can RP all you like.
Overall, its a mistake, and an easy one to correct, next time just slow down a little before jumping into the fray. It will make things much more fun for both you and your foes.
It is my.. personal opinion that you simply be warned by the LPI, and no action be taken, just please be careful in the future.
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust

An opinion that I support. Easy mistake, given the group fight setting. I've seen all too many people just jump in without a single word because the fight was already raging.
