Seemingly Abandoned Signature Requests

The reason for this thread is because of all the work various sig creators have done, only to see their efforts being ignored.

I know sometimes it'll happen, but I feel it's rather unfair to ask for something and then just abandon it.

Personally, I'm not that bothered, I'm just thinking of other artists who have probably given up ingame playing to create these sigs.

So if any of you artists out there feel the same way, please feel free to add your comments, but please keep it friendly as it's not my intention to cause bother.

Personally, I take time off of the game to do artwork, I really get sucked too much into a game where a lot of things can make me angry. This is how I cool off a bit. Plus it's fun making things.

As far as ignored artwork goes, I've been there. Most of the things that go on here for signatures are based on competition, so 90% of the players get left out, because there's only one winner.

If you want to make things for people, but don't want to be ignored, advertise, and make people go to you.

I think you're missing the point Bass, my reference isn't about advertising my work, it's more to do with a request that's bumped, has several artists contributing, but then the original requester abandons the project, therefore there is NO WINNER simply because everyone's artwork is ignored.

As for advertising my services, why should I need to? like you, I do it for the enjoyment value,

All I'm asking for is that, if someone makes a request, artists contribute to that request, then, whether it's no longer wanted, or has been filled by other means, the least the requester can do is let us know.

Yeah, If nothing else post and say why you don't want the signature...

I think the thing to do is to PM the person after a few days of no activity on the request thread, that's what I did to Laowai... And just ask if they've forgotten about the thread.
