Battlefield 2142 and Battlefield 2 problems!

Ok so I log onto my 2142 account after a long break and as I log on I have to wait like..10-15 minutes untill my soldier loads :mellow:
Then, when it does, it shows a blank soldier no medals, ranks or anything. BUT my stats are on the BF2142 website.

When I log ingame everythings fine, I got all my unlocks ect. The lag is all in the menu.

I have done numourus tests to check what the problem is. ITS NOT MY INSTALLATION, ITS EA :P. Ive treid on differant computers too.

-This is what im asking. Could someone please log onto to thier bf 2142 or bf 2 account and tell me if they are experiancing the same issues?

I get that problem myself from time to time with those two games. When the Disco server is full, I lock and load and head into BF2.

If you get that problem, log out and try again, trying a different server. If it pesists, re-boot your machine. It's a problem that I have little trouble with these days. Hope this helps.

Its been like this for a couple of weeks actually. Its so lagged I cant actually log out untill the button comes up in 10 minutes.

The problem isn't with the servers. I think its the EA master servers and that. Might also be my account? I dont know. I might have to buy a new copie of the game..:(

If it's an EA issue, a new copy probably won't fix it. Re-install it if needed.

It's an EA issue indeed, everyone has the problems you described. Seems they have slacken up the support for the two awesome games. Fortunately, they are still nicely playable (if you don't mind the ubiquitous crashing while accessing the ranks&medals&stuff page in game).
