Alrighty, so for screenshots I've been using photobucket. Is there a faster website that does the same thing? It's taking ages just to upload 14 photos.

If you're experiencing slow uploads that can likely be attributed to your actual upload capacity, as well as the filesize of the images.

Resolution is a factor.

You can use options like imageshack, yfrog, tinypic, or a few others out there if you want to try something new.

Yeah I use imageshack. Its ok, like 14 photos will take a little while, but I like it alot better than photobucket.

Screenshots are saved as BMP by default, which is huge.


BMP = 3mb
JPG = 300kb

It's also about the compression, and BMP is older than my grandma... JPG and PNG are better for size etc


Photobucket uploads BMPs as BMPs, whereas Imageshack shrinks em and makes em PNG for you I think.

you can do bulk conversions of pictures from .BMP format to any other format by using a program which i use as well, tis called "XNView". pretty nifty.
