' Wrote:Um. Re-read a Robin Hood story or two before saying 'I want to play Robin Hood that's it', because you appear to be a little confused as to what he did (in all the various Robin Hood stories I've read, at least, he's an outlawed nobleman).

And, really, if you're OOCly annoyed at people, either 1) trade less or 2) get some fresh air. There's no need to make a vigilante unless you really want to RP one because you'd enjoy it (as opposed to being able to pew pew for OOC motives).

The question about ships/weapons/IDs has been answered, anyway. Eagle/Raven's Talon/Wasupu/Kingfisher/Marauder/a few others/Roc with, ideally, civilian weaponry.

Actually, to avoid OOC vendetta you can make a RP family character. One vigilante character who is related to your main trade character.

Good examples of this are siblings or relatives. This way you can explain your metagaming and motives as "You killed mybrother/sister <insert name here>, now prepare to die!"

It's not the best RP, but good enough. Also leave room for toleration and make sure your character name is obviously related to your other ones.

Play smart, play adaptive, play RP.

OOC = out-of-character. In that case I'm referring to you, the player, being peeved by in-character actions.

Here's an analogy for being annoyed OOCly: Othello getting hold of Iago before the first Act is even over, thumping him and throwing him off the stage, just because Othello's actor knows that Iago is scheming and doesn't really like it (those of you who think Iago is the good guy in it all, hush).

Hmmm....

Someone that has a grudge against pirates and wants to hunt them, do escorting missions, and perhaps learn a few things from more experienced personnel...

Son, come here, sit down and enjoy this nice, cold, refreshing beverage while you read this: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?s=...st&p=527633

Notice our first mission point:

1. Establish Sirius-wide monopoly in provision of security training, route clearance, transport of hazardous or important materials and personnel, escort services for trade vessels, explosive ordnance disposal, auxiliary police services and manned guarding services in hostile areas to safeguard personnel, installations, and equipment.
And our methods...

1. Utilise licensed personnel, including former affiliates of organised criminal groups granted amnesty, throughout Sirius to serve arrest, apprehend and termination/assassination warrants on targets identified by House police organisations.
2. Compile intelligence on gravitational anomalies used by various smuggling and narco-trafficking collectives and employ ambush tactics to eliminate targets of opportunity that use these alternative transport networks.
I'm just saying that if you're looking for job, and you've a history or possibly some kind of personal vendetta against the scumbags that tend to pollute Sirius - we might be in a position to provide you with some entertainment, reasonable health benefits, and a decent life insurance fund for your beneficiary when you get killed. (Notice I said when - not IF. Seems like all you fire-breathers tend to go out in a blaze - not necessarily of glory, either.)
