This ship then proceeded into Baffin, he was followed to confirm his final destination which was Shasta Orbital Skyhook. Now Doc, we understand your legal structure is lets call it, more "liberal" than our in Kusari, but as long time neighbors our people, those of Kusari and the Temporary Autonomous Zoners, we have become close and grown a great respect for each other customs and laws. When fugitives in Kusari feel they can flee the Emperor's law by escaping to Baffin, it under minds the mutual respect and warm relations we have between our peoples. I would ask that the TAZ revoke this "midwinters" access to Baffin, so he would not further abuse your gracious hospitality.

While I'm not a user of marijuana, our medical staff has been working with it, much of the research being done in Baffin. We have been finding that it has done much to help certain patients with chronic illnesses cope with it better. I was initially opposed to it but it was working and the comfort of those I take care of took precedence. Unfortunately, and I apologize for this, the only way we can get it is having smugglers bring it to us since our trade fleet can't handle the capacity.
So, that is why once I am finished here in Omicron Theta saving these people, I will present myself for arrest and pay whatever costs are involved. I alone am to blame. I know this isn't the proper time but I'm hoping that we can work out something to transport it. A tax or whatever you wish as we have found success with synthetic marijuana on a limited and controlled basis.
My medical colony, Med.Force.One, is stationed near Corfu. If you will allow me to finish my work here, I will not resist if you send men to arrest me.
Chairman Holiday, such talk of fines paid by yourself and arrest are nonsense, but when you have the time, I would like to take the opportunity to discuss this matter, but of course it is a low priority compared to your current undertaking. I do believe there are ways to bring the supplies you need for legitimate medical research and patient care, while removing some of the more unsavory characters from trafficking it through Kusari. I hope this can be a point in the strengthening of relations between Kusari and our close neighbors in the TAZ. In addition, if your operations in the Omicrons, in the current state of crisis, I am sure we can arraigned for shipments of Pharmaceuticals, and food through Kishiro and Samura. The Emperor has authorized me to offer to finance these shipments from his own Treasury. We are always willing to help our neighbors when they are in need.
Hopefully your situation in the Omicrons resolves itself quickly, and with the best possible outcome. I will be available for discussions whenever your schedule should allow it.

Please, don't view my offers of fines and such as nonsense. View them as someone willing to take responsiblility.
While things have calmed a bit since the bombing, I still have some 300 patients on Med.Force as a result. One of them, for some strange reason, is a Kusari State Police officer. He will be well enough to leave in a day or so. As my transport is nearby, I will bring him home personally.
Getting to the point, I too would like to meet and talk as I have a few things I would like to ask. Simple things, really, such as some special permits but it will save us both misunderstandings later. I have enough staff on hand to be able to take a day and meet with you. You may pick where we will meet although I do understand that Planet Honshu is quite beautiful this time of year.
Let me know when and where and I will make it happen.
