It's been brought to my attention by our Fleet's logistic department, that several pulse guns of Cretan manufacture are still present in our armories. Also, a few of our front-line pilots have been known to use those weapons despite regulations and the lack of available maintenance for such equipment within the Taus. In my and the Logistics Department's opinions, those weapons are better-off functioning at 100% efficiency instead of rotting due to the lack of maintenance. Most of them are old examples, dating back to the first deal, mostly conserved in boxes, but neither their number nor usefulness is improving by that.
I am aware, that the original agreement was canceled due to political perturbations on our side. Nevertheless, since the situation stabilized and is basically identical to the one earlier, I'd like to ask what conditions would the Colonial Government need to meet in order to procure equipment necessary to maintain the existing stock of pulse guns.
Signed, Basil Angelos, President of the Colonial Republic

Make sure your transmission was not lost somewhere in Sirius, it reached our comms systems.
Until we come to a final statement, you may hold the content of your armory as it is.
