Inside the space port of Houston, there Solari sat, fully hooded in dark overthrow coat. Word had gotten out about Solari's escape from the asylum, and everyone was now looking for him. He could not afford to be seen, because after the many civilian deaths he caused the night of his escape, he was unlikely to be taken alive.
There Solari sat, waiting for a announcement that his flight was starting to board. He had gotten hold of a ticket through a innocent victim he had met just minutes ago in the bathrooms, along with his identification and all. His plan was simple, board the civilian plane, and then take it over.
Solari could no longer afford to remain on the planet. While he was a cold blooded predator, he was no match for a army that was hunting him. He had to take to the skies, were he had the advantage, were his food source was near infinite.
'Flight 87B is now boarding'
Solari stood up and walked over to the terminal gate. The guards paid no attention to him. The woman at the gate took his ticket and scanned it. 'Have a nice flight' she said. She didn't even bother checking his ID or looking at his face. Solari smiled under his hood. 'Oh I will' said Solari as he walked down the terminal gate and boarded the transport.
Solari boarded the transport, looking around at the fully booked flight. He could smell the sweat emulating from the passengers. He could recognize that iron smell he had grown so accustomed to, circling in the air again, and again, through a poor ventilation shaft, it was blood. He tried to keep his composure. He was still on the planet...
"Please take your seats," The intercom rang aloud
Solari strolled down the aisle, trying not to look suspicious and remain in controll. He took a seat toward the end of the plane, and watched as two security officers boarded the transport and took a seat.
They must of been doubling security because of recent events.
Solari sat there, his eyes pulsating. He grabbed his head, "remain in controll. Just until we take off" Solari said. A womans voice came over the intercom, "Please fasten your seat belts as we prepare for lift off." Solari ignored the womans voice, and instead pulled a dreadful looking dagger out of his pocket. "To soon," he tried to remind himself. Perhaps this was the perfect time to catch some sleep while he waited to reach safely out of orbit of the planet. Solari leaned against the side of the transport, his hood over his head, and drifted off to sleep.
Solari found himself on the top of a mountain. He stared off into the distance. There was a thick mist that covered the entire area, it was hard enough to even see five feet in front of you. Solari stood there mute, looking around. He began walking off into the distance as if to somehow escape the mist. Something was very strange about this dream indeed. No matter what direction Solari walked in, he somehow seemed to only go uphill.
The sounds of his steps made a crunching noise. Solari looked down to see the ground almost purely made of bones. Somehow, for the first time in his life, he was scared. Solari trembled. He slowly continued to climb up the hill untill he reached the top. He pulled himself up to the very top of the large mountain, where he was shocked at what he saw. There, at the top of the mountain, stood a mirror. Solari slowly approached the mirror, in horror at what he saw. He stared into the mirror. Something not human stared back at him, edging ever closer to the mirror as he did, matching his rhythm and movements. The creature smiled at him. Somehow, Solari found himself smiling as well. He stood there, fixed on top of the hill, staring into the mirror ontop of the mounds of human bones. Is this what he had become? Was this the other entity that lived inside him, finally coming to a full appearance. If so, it was bad news for Solari. He had taken his luxury of killing to far, it just made the creature stronger and stronger with every death, with every ounce of flesh he consumed.
The mirror started to crack, and the glass exploded backward into the air in slow motion, shattering into thousands upon thousands of peices. Upon the other side, stood the creature in flesh. Was this some kind of omen? Behind the creature stood others similar to him, but not nearly as large or threatening. The mound began to trembled as if a earthquick was happening. The creature lunged at Solari pulling him through the mirror frame within a instant...
