While the Rochester Lotto has been going on for some time now, we're lacking participants, and thus need to reach out and advertise so that more people can join in for the chance to win.
Every day at 1 a.m. GMT, the lottery drawing is held at Rochester Base, New York, hosted by the Junker Salvager Tenacity.
Rules of the Drawing:
Participation:
In order to participate, contestants must be within scanner range of Rochester Base. Participants from other areas of the system, or from other systems, will not be allowed to purchase tickets (//reason for this is to keep track of who is actually playing, can get hard when I'm doing this all through PM. Additionally, you know there's no cheating when you see the dice roll for yourself//)
Buying Tickets:
Participants may purchase as many tickets as desired. Each ticket costs one million standard sirius credits. Payments through both nueralnet transfers as well as credit card transfers are acceptable. For each ticket purchased, the participant chooses one number between one and one hundred. Numbers are logged during the ticket purchase period.
Winning:
Once ticket purchasing has concluded, a randomized number between one and one hundred is drawn. The participant with a ticket number closest to that of the drawn number will receive 80% of all collected ticket funds.
Example:
Four participants each buy two tickets. Total funds collected are 8 million credits. 80% of that is allotted to the winner - the winner receives 6.4 million credits.
