New FLHook ID Bug

Right, get this, I buy my nice new BHG ID then fly to Capetown in Omega-56.


I take off my ID, and try to buy the ship, moving the ID across. That's an error, FLHook needs it equipped to let me buy it.

So I equip the ID, buy the ship, and now I'm kinda stuck.

I have to sell the ID to buy the ship, but now I'm stuck on Capetown with no ID!



I can fly out of 56 and to Rostock to buy the ID back, without an ID though.

There's something that needs fixing.

No. You are just doing it wrong.


You have your BH ID mounted. You go to Capetown and unmount it. Then you try to buy a ship that requires that you have the BH ID mounted. Can you see where you are doing it wrong ?

What you should have done, was left the ID mounted, then bought the ship. In the ship purchase screen before pressing purchase, you can see that the ID has been transferred to the left side, meaning the shipdealer took it off your old ship in the trade-in. Just transfer it back to the new ship, before confirming the purchase.

So nothing is wrong, everything works as intended.
