I have been playing for 3 days, and I already think the game is epic, it`s for ME!
Got in touch with a guy form the UK, he explained a lot of things to me, helps me out. Joined a corp. in which he is on, Ill be training skills to become on of the Ewar Squad members (scouting, recon etc)
The corporation is rather small, and I know that new members should not join young and small corps, but its better then flying alone and without any help!

What killed the game for me was how expensive it was. $15 a month is too much for me. Especially since Discovery is free!

But I will admit the game is kind of fun. I loved the way the minmatar ships looked.

Actually, it's 10 euros a month. That if you can't make enough money to buy PLEXes or get other people to join in.

I've played EVE myself for a couple of intermitent months. I might just pay for another month to keep myself entertained during the Easter vacations...

This is why you buy a clone for your self, which keeps a certain amount of skillpoints, so that even if you do get killed, you dont lose your skills.

after a couple months when you can fly a battleship with all the needed skills for weapons shields/armor tanking etc, you can easily make around 500 mill a month, which means you can just use 300 mill and buy a plex, which is an ingame item you can use to extend your time by a month, meaning you dont have to pay for the game anymore. (i dont do that, i feckin hate grinding)

and joining a new corp is a better option than playing solo deaxy.

skill training is based on real time, but you can now just que train skills and not play, the skills will still keep training.

Well, atm im learning the basic skills needed for combat and mining and doing the career misions. When Im done with those, Ill fly to our corps. home system and start learning skills to be an Ewar squad member.
Edit - we also are in an allience with a neighbor corporation, and soon we will start fighting other alliances. This is going to be fun!

Makes me want to play again, I played for 2 weeks a year and a half ago and I tried to install it recently but seems my computer is not good enough for the game now, bwahha.

they updated the game graphics engine some time ago, yes!
