I am trying to run Disco and an another mod (which doesn't use FLMM) at the same time on Windows 7, but only 1 of them works, no matter what I do. (i noticed that the one installed LAST, works) At first, i tried the 2 freelancer directory thing - Install 1 freelancer, rename it Freelancer 2, for example, and then install the game again, renaming the 2nd folder freelancer Disco, then the "freelancer 2" folder gets renamed back to "Freelancer", and the desired mod is installed in it, then it's renamed back to "freelancer 2", THEN the "Freelancer Disco" folder gets renamed to Freelancer, and Disco is installed into that folder. The way this should work is that whenever i want to play the other mod, i should rename the Freelancer folder to Freelancer disco, and the Freelancer 2 back to Freelancer, but that didn't work (aka only Discovery worked, the other kept crashing to desktop right after launching the game). Today I had Freelancer folder with Disco install, got a different FL install, was able to install the game itself to a seperate folder, called Monkey Universe, installed the other mod, and STILL, it will not work...

any help with that?

Just so you know you can't use any Mod other mod with Disco. Its again the rules. Besides I doubt anything would be compatible since Disco changes almost everything.

Make a clean install of FL and copy it. Use mod manager to install disco into the first installed FL, then use mod manager to install the other mod into your second FL directory. You will not be able to run two instances of FL simulationsly, though. So powertrading in both mods at the same time ain't possible.

That or just install FL as standard, but to a differnt directory

IE: C:/FL/Disco C:/FL/MODNAMEHERE etc etc

thank you for the replies, but i finally found a solution. Installing Disco on 1 freelancer folder, copying it, disabling Disco and installing the other mod (Disco stays on the copied folder, and the other mod works on the original install)

SP Autosave.fl savegame was most likely the cause of the crash.

FLMM automatically moves savegames when activating/deactivating a mod, so that's why it works like you described.
