Growing up on a Los Angeles was such a dull and drab experience. Everything that happened there was boring. It always seemed that no interesting people ever stopped by there. We only have 360 million people living there, spread across an entire planet. Everywhere I went, it was life as usual. Boring.
When I was 19 (816 AS) I took a job working for Synth Foods, where I made a pathetic sum of money. My amazing job was on a planet side manufacturing plant, I basically unpacked supply crates. However, this changed when I quite literally stumbled upon a treasure.
As stupid as it sounds, I had a friend who had inherited a Dagger class fighter. He DIDN'T WANT IT, and was going to sell it off. Unfortunately, he learned that even though it was a civilian fighter, he couldn't sell it because of the "outcast connections". So, I took all my meager savings and acquired it for a mere 4,200.
And then I was off. I tested my fighter out on the local Xenos, and discovered I enjoyed the superior handling. I watched heavier fighters struggle to stay on their tail, but I was always able to hold them in my sights.
After a little research, I discovered there was a better variant on the Dagger, the Scimitar. By hauling scrap metal from New York to Skikoku, I was able to make enough to purchase it.
So what do I do now that I have a top of the line ship, plenty of money, and nothing to do? Well, pretty much anything, I suspect. I think I'll start with the omicrons.
