Chi Shimizu

Chi was born in November 13,800 A.S., on planet Junyo. Ever since she was alive, everyone knew she was a "special" child. Chi had horn-like, almost cat-ear-like prostrusions on her head, that's why She was treated as some kind of "mutant" or "demon". Even her parents didn't want the child since she was different from others. She lived her first years alive on several research stations. She got examined by a lot of Scientists, but not a single one could yet tell what she really was. She was a very intelligent child, she knew how to walk as she was 2, she could speak well in the age of 3. Scientists in Kusari were hopeless, they just couldn't tell what kind of human, if she even is human, she was.
They examined her daily, trying to figure out what she really was...

Scientists sent her to school at the age of 5, to see how she reacts in a social envirement. Which was a pretty bad idea. The kids in school bullied her all the time, called her "freak" and such things. After long months and years of bullying, insulting and physically and mentally abuse, she turned into a shy, silent and mentally weak girl.

One day, in the 8th grade, in the age of 14, she got beaten up by the guys started calling her "freak", at this day, they regretted it. For the first time, Chi showed her real "powers", she killed the half of her class mates with an abnormal power...Some invisible "arms", she used them to slice her "victims". She also has incredible physical strenght for her age, even for a human...That day ended in a huge bloody mess...

After this scenario, it was logical, Chi wasn't human, nor just a little girl.

One year later, the Scientists in Kusari made an agreement with the Ames Research station in Kepler, to continue the research on Chi. So she got shipped to Liberty with a highly secured transport, which, of course, attracted the local pirates and terrorists. The ones who were -really- interested are the Xenos. They were the ones who did everything, to hijack this transport, including Chi. Even if the transport was heavily secured, they couldn't stand the huge attack of the Xenos for long, so eventually, they got the Transport and Chi, though, Chi killed all the guards in her surveillance room on the transport on her own, making it even more easy for the Xenos. They brought them to their base, known as Base Refugio. There, they researched more about her, though, Chi didn't feel better there either...atleast not yet. Since she was covered in the blood of her guards, her new "Stepfather" called her "Chi" which means "Blood" in japanese.

The Xenos there found the current research progress on the Transport aswell, it says that Chi is some kind of mutated human, known as "Diclonius". Even though, some of the Xenos didn't want to keep her, since it was too dangerous they say, one of them actually made them keep them. This person is her "stepfather", the man who accepted, and raised her for three years. In those three years, he taught her everything she need to know, even flying. Her "stepfather" is the only person she really loves at the moment.

Today, Chi is still a mentally unstable person, she can either be warm and hearthy, or unbelievable cold and violent. It depends on her surroundings...

Research Progress on the Subject: Diclonius "Shimizu"

This is the last day before we ship it to Ames...With this file, I'll summarize our current progress on the subject before we ship her to Liberty.

The subjects species is known as the "Diclonius". They're mutated humans with horn-like prostrutions on their heads.

They get born like any other normal child, but you can clearly see the horns to the first time. Pity that "Shimizu" is the only one we've ever seen, but in her case, the parents didn't want to keep the child, which made it even more easy for us to finally get the information we need about the mutants. "Shimizu" is one of the more powerful Diclonius, hai they're dangerous. Their powers involve the usage of invisible arms, known as "vectors" that can grasp and impact things as if they are solid, but also become insubstantial and pass through objects. They can slice objects as well, which is how Diclonius kill their victims. Vectors usually have a limited range of a few meters. In "Shimizus" case, it is 4 meters.

"Shimizu" herself doesn't know about her species, she doesn't exactly know about her powers either. She uses them if she feels in danger, or if old memories return. Also, she is a very unstable person, everyone should treat her with high causion, since she tried to get away from our facilities, too...we had a high lost of guards.

I'm afraid that's all we know about the species for now, I'm sure the professors on Ames will find out more once she's been shipped there. We expect more progress in about 3 years, that's all for now.
