Greetings to everyone,
A lot has changed in Ageira Technologies in this past month. As some of you may know, Mr. Stephen Drake has resigned as CEO of Ageira Technologies. I wish to present our new CEO, Mr. Mark Newman.

Good day to all,
I am Mark Newman, the new CEO of Ageira Technologies. It has been this way for almost a month now, however we have not informed the public of this for a few reasons. Ageira Technologies has made new bonds under Mr.Drake's leadership. However I feel that Ageira Technologies has also weakened some old ones.

To re-enforce Ageira Technologies' old bonds, we have decided to commission a number of vessels for our trade fleet from each house. We started by contacting the Kusari corporations, where after some discussions with the Gas Miners Guild, we were allowed to commission three Kujira Transports, the first of which can already be seen flying from Pueblo to Okinawa, I speak of the Ageira|Fuji, our flagship for the Okinawa supply run.

We wish to continue by acquiring ships from corporations in the House of Bretonia and expand our horizons with contracts in Bretonia. From across the blockade, I wish that our maintenance crews in Rheinland be allowed to use Rheinland ships. In a way we are supporting Rheinland, I admit, however the Trade Lanes must be maintained. It is Ageira Technologies' obligation to maintain the Trade-Lanes and Jump-gates, and while we are a Liberty Corporation, we will stay true to our word and maintain the Trade-Lanes.

On the matter of using ships, I would also like to phase out use of the Generic "Train" line of ship. Within a few weeks all Train vessels shall be replaced by Mastodons or one of DSE's newest projects.

That said, I wish to announce that Detroit Munitions has never worked as efficiently as today. Employee bonuses have raised morale and productivity, at a small cost for Ageira Technologies. Our work force is important to us, and that is why revisions of many contracts with workers are being done to better suit our employees needs.



That is all, some of what I have stated is still under discussion by the board of executives and may change; I will now be answering questions.

A Kusarian reporter stands, amongst the throngs of dozens, if not hundreds of others, and has the good luck of being selected. He takes a moment to compose himself, hiding a smirk with a cough, before speaking into his own mic.
"Mr. Newman. First off, congratulations on your promotion. Now, I'd like to hear your official response on the reports that Ageira Technologies is in fact damaged to the core? You currently rank lower in the Stock market than uhh... Oh here it is, Samura Industries. So many changes of CEO clearly means something is wrong. On that same note, what do you say to reports that the very same company has developed it's own Gate Technology?" He begins to sit, only to jump back up with another question, knowing full well that he wouldn't get another chance.
"There's also rumours that you've received funding from the Liberty Government to stay afloat?"
With that, he sits with a content smile, knowing that no matter how the CEO responds, if he does at all, the damage was done. He would be getting a very hefty Kusari backed paycheck very soon.

Newman grinned to himself for a moment, he was in a difficult position.
"It is true that our stock has dropped by 11 points, we are recovering. This was expected due to Mr.Drakes sudden departure. In response to another company creating a stable and working Gate; Ageira has learned through trial and error. In the past, these tests cost us the Dallas. I doubt that any Gates developed by competitors in this century would be safe, or even functional.
Newman stopped for a moment to look at the people's reactions.
Ageira does not have any financial problems, rumors and slander spread by competitors trying to smear Ageira Technologies' good reputation. Next question please?

A good question. No. Unless the house itself declares hostilities against Ageira Technologies, we will keep our end of the contract. replied Newman, pausing briefly However, should any of Ageira Technologies Customers turn on us, they will find their Trade Lanes, and Jump-gates in-operational rather quickly. However that is a final resort, and Ageira Technologies will never be the cause of these hostilities.
