[font=Century Gothic]G'Day fellas, just thought I'd let all of you know in advance of what's happening, just to keep things nice and pleasant, ya'no? I mean, something as big as this showing up unannounced can cause friction between even the best of friends.
The destroyer Maelstrom will be on her way to Bretonia shortly; for two things. First off, one of her turrets bit the dust as the result of a direct hit from a heavy mortar. That the turret managed to absorb the brunt of the damage of something so massive allowing only minor infliction to pass to the ship itself shows they're top quality kit, in my book.
Nonetheless, we can't have the old girl missing one of her teeth, can we? I'll be sneaking her into Dublin and Londonderry in the next couple of days to have the turret replaced. I won't be causing any trouble, I can guarantee that - unless of course, it's trouble for the irritating Corsairs that seem to be getting more and more populous in my old stomping grounds.
The second reason, compounding the urgency of the visit, is a significant business meeting I've planned in Leeds. Again, we won't be causing any trouble. You probably won't ever notice us floating by. Discretion is key here, after all it wouldn't be very pleasant if the York happened upon us, as I'm sure you can understand.
Ooroo, fellas. Hope to catch up with some of ya's in person.
