Says who? The current market trend is for the purchaser to come to the store. Maybe there's room in the market for someone with 'delivery' skills, I did for a while, made a pretty penny doing it.
But there's no rule that says a dealer must have a mobile presance. If you didn't want to travel you should have contacted another dealer who would travel or had an office closer to you.
Sounds like someone else got some free codies, how delightful.
Edit: you're lucky he didn't go "hmmm, he's coming from there, to here, I wonder if I can contact some nerdowell to pirate him and get the codies for cheaper." or did he? dun dun dun.
Usually weapons dealer use ''armored ship'' , for instance, when I sold my 8 coded weapon, I offered a meeting points where I would manually un-equip the weapon, lets say a Freeport. The best dealer are the one who have multiple ships.
But still I would Never do such a thing in Lolberty, especially in newb-york. Live with it or plan something safer, Night transaction are always more secure. To the game, its nothing more then a drop able commodity.
Two things - one, this sounds like a trial by forum, or at least a gripe fest, so it's going to get closed now. And two, I just picked up 18 codes from another player, in Liberty, and took them all the way down to Omega-56 without hassle. I didn't carry them in a little, easy to blow-up ship, either.
