So after quite a few discussions about a possible event between the two factions, we've finally decided to make it happen. This event has quite an interesting background to it, and the event itself will be a continuation of that, it'll be interesting and most importantly fun.
This is a short summary of the event, what preceded it and what will follow.
---------------------------------------------
[font=Microsoft Sans Serif]The Remnants of Tekagi, or as the Blood Dragons know them, the Aoi Iseijin, have witnessed the revelation of the most sacred of ships the Blood Dragons possess in the Chugoku system a few days ago. The ship was revealed by a Shogun of the Rising Sons, that foolishly took it to battle hoping to defend his home against an invasion force of the Kusari Naval Forces. The Sacred Relic, as some refer to it, was nearly destroyed and the Shogun responsible is gone missing, presumably seeking forgiveness for his actions in his own heart. The Aoi Iseijin, being mere observants have managed to focus on the scanning the ship, instead of fighting it. However, the scanning array that their ship had at the moment was unable to penetrate the Sacred Relic's thick hull, and only approximately 20% of the ship's schematics. But as the enormous Dragon ship disappeared in the dept of Chugoku hope was not lost, but rather kindled.
In the following few days, an Aoi Iseijin known by the name of Amy Masako, managed to find a weak link in the Dragon's chain. A young Dragon Miyu Hayashi, was found to be a weak minded Dragon, and was used by Amy to gather some information about the Sacred Relic of the Rising Sons. She managed to slip past the Guards of Kyoto, and access the data on The True Throne. However, even with Miyu's help, the Iseijin managed to gain only 40% of the ship's schematics, not nearly enough to know how to fight this Beast of Old, yet alone construct something similar. But the Iseijin came up with a plan. They used the data available to them, and filled in the blanks with what seemed logical to them and built a replica of what they've seen. Not nearly as powerful as The True Throne, but possibly enough to draw out the Red Dragon from its Cave?
The Iseijin newly constructed replica of The True Throne, named Divine Intervention, emits a 97% the exact transponder signature of the Dragon's Beast. Enough to draw out the Sacred Relic from its hiding. Their plan is to launch an attack on the base of Ryuku with this newly built warship, hoping that The True Throne will be sent to deal with this threat. They believe that this act will seem as an attack of desperation to the Rising Sons, and that they will be lead to believe this is all that remains of Tekagi. An opportunity the Rising Sons will never pass on, the opportunity to destroy all that is left of Governor Tekagi. Little do they now the Aoi Iseijin have a Plan.
---------------------------------------------
Now about the event itself. As I said in the summary, the Aoi Iseijin will mount an attack against Ryuku. The Dragons will retaliate with all they've got.
The plan is to fully scan The True Throne with the enhanced scanners once it reaches out to destroy the threat. With the complete data now gathered, the sacrifice of the replica was worth it. What will the Iseijin do with these scans you'll find out in the future.
The Aoi Iseijin side will have around 5 or more fighters, and 1 Togo. The Blood Dragon side will have several ]bd[ fighters, and of course their flaghip to counter the Iseijin Togo. The capital fight is planned to be lost by the Iseijin, but The True Throne will be severely damaged, because that is a needed outcome for future role play. And it's logical seeing how their Togo is a mere replica. The fighter battle is open for business. If the Iseijin side wins they'll fall back due to their Togo being destroyed, and their mission fulfilled ( the scans ), if the Dragons wins, well, that one is self explanatory.
Now, even though this is an official event, indies can participate for the Dragon side. HOWEVER, if you have an indie character and wish to participate, you are to send me a PM and we'll take it on from there. If you're unable to comply with that simple request and show up at the event anyway, you'll probably be shot by both sides.
