Is it possible to make a commodity only perishable when transported with one type of vessel?
If yes, here's the idea: Make all human cargo perishable if they're not transported with Liners, Yachts, capital ships and fighters/bombers.
Why?
This idea came to me when I was transporting slaves and instead of a liners I'm using a Stork with drab cargo pods. Imagine transporting people in containers over vast distances. There's no doubt that some of them will die. Besides, those are slaves and in a pathetic condition.
I don't think this will be possible, just as it's not possible for cargo to occupy a different amount of space when carried in select ships (Hull Panels in the Tanker for instance). These properties are set on the cargo type, not on the ship type.

What is possible is to FLHook deny the sale of certain commodities from certain bases
What is also possible is to FLHook based on ship-type to give bonuses (IE Mining)
What should be possible is to do is to create a hook system that sells commodities by ship type. That way, Liners would be the only ships able to buy human cargo...as it should be.

Nope.

I disagree that Liners should be the only ship type able to buy human cargo. Trains, Container Transports, Transports, yes it is a bit silly, but in other ships which have the cargo hold as an integrated part of the hull (such as the Percheron and Behemoth), it is entirely conceivable that the cargo bay would be pressurized and highly livable. So, restricting human cargo from the Transports, Trains, Container Transports, Mining Ships, and the like would be pretty welcome, but the other transports really could carry humans without much worry, I think. Armored Transports were the #1 mover of people in vanilla, afterall.
