We transmit this rather shabby transmission to you to inform all of you of our plight and the situation as it stands.

The Zoners Trading Consortium wishes to pass on this transmission, in the hope of maintaining relations and ensuring that both our peaceful societies are not forced into another conflict.

Firstly, the Zoners Trading Consortium wishes to clarify that we are in mourning. Recently, Corsair-influenced pirates and other opportunists attacked our movement. We have lost many. In order to protect ourselves, the Zoners Trading Consortium pulled all our people and ships back to our home in the Omicrons. For some time we have remained there mourning and deliberating on how to move forward.

Secondly, we believe due to the Zoner Alliance falling apart, infiltrators who wish for the Zoners to be destroyed, have managed to infiltrate the Zoner populace and are falsely appropriating Zoner papers and identification in order to pass themselves off as Zoners, and stir trouble, in order to increase conflict and discord. These are obviously not Zoners and if you come across them I strongly recommend defending yourselves from them. We at the Zoners Trading Consortium wish to stress we are not related to them.

Thirdly, we believe that rationalistic ex-Zoners, who left the Zoner movement after the war due to a Corsair-influenced attack are conducting covert attacks on food shipments to the Corsair populace. We wish to inform you that we, the Zoners Trading Consortium, are not related to this group.

Fourthly, we wish to stress that as per our retreat into our enclave we have cut ourselves off quite well from Sirius to protect ourselves and to mourn our loss and decide how to carry on.

Fifthly, Zoners could still communicate with us, regardless of the above, and we left some channels open for them specifically to do so. The Zoners on Freeport 11 sent us a transmission stating that people who wish to destroy the Zoner movement will start spreading lies about us, as well as infiltrate us in order to cause conflict. We urge you not to believe this false propaganda if anyone has contacted you. Whilst their own communication may be innocent, we believe their views have been twisted on a grander stage by someone in the shadows, who seeks to destroy the Zoners. Whilst we left the Houses in order to make our own freer world, whilst in the houses we follow your laws, and we have never interfered with your business, nor sought any harm against you.

We, of the Zoners Trading Consortium also wish to inform you, that once we finish our mourning and return to the Sirius stage as it were, we will begin to root out these traitors and infiltrators if they are on our bases and bring about some peace.

Right now however, our consortium is at a loss at how to proceed fully and we are in a limbo of sorts and unable to do much.

Please respond to this channel so we may maintain a peace and not engage in conflict. If you have any ideas on reasonable things we can do to maintain peace, please transmit them, as we have had enough war. As per our distance out so far, getting you replies and transmitting them will take some time, so please be patient.

Addendum: We opened up a line with the House of Kusari which is encrypted separately, since one of the infiltrators or traitors attacked their civilians already. This communication will also reach the House of Kusari, but any representative of Kusari receiving this transmission would be better off responding on our other frequency.

I wish we could provide names, but currently we are unable constitutionally to conduct proper investigations until our enclave is over. We seek to end our enclave as soon as possible, so please bear with us.

We endeavour to have these names from our investigation, and from Kusari's response as to the people carrying Zoner papers who attacked them, and as soon as we do, we will forward them to you.

For now, have faith that anyone carrying our tag (]c[) or (]o[) is one of the Zoners Trading Consortium and is a legitimate Zoner that can be trusted. Even then, we hope you examine each Zoner carefully to ensure your house comes to no harm.
