This is a bit of a grave-dig, but I couldn't find a more recent thread about the HUD, so I thought I'd post here.
I just thought I'd clarify, in regards to the Sleek Black HUD, that you have my full permission to use, modify, and implement it into your own mods. All I would ask in the latter two cases, is that you give me credit for my work. Of course, you don't have to, but it's the polite thing to do.
I mention this because I saw another thread where Cannon had some links to HUD mods taken down partly because the authors of those mods didn't give their consent. I don't mind a bit if you use my HUD, and in fact, I enjoy seeing something I made being used by others. Not to mention, I originally posted it to Discovery and made it with this community in mind.
That doesn't mean you can necessarily use it with Discovery. That's up to its creators. If they don't want to see it used, that is their decision-- and a sound one, considering other, less benign things may be packaged in with a HUD mod. However, I just wanted to clear up the issue of my own consent to use of this particular HUD mod. It is not attached to any other mod, and if it is used in other mods, that is because it is free for anyone's use.
Cheers and happy hunting,
kaboom
P.S. There is a version of Sleek Black with different, improved icons. That is an upgrade which is part of another mod, and I can't give any sort of permission to use them because of the altered icons. My mod applies solely to the scheme change.
