The buzzing was truly obnoxious. After four beers, six bottles of scotch, and enough schnapps to fell a moose, the hang over was enough to warrant the wish of death. Fumbling, he grabbed for the phone, only to find the soft feeling of flesh. He fondled for a bit, trying to ascertain what it was he grabbed. Yup. That was a boob. The buzzing persisted, drawing attention from the womanly part. He stretched over more, finally grasping something that was phone-like. With a low growl, he placed it up to his ear and said, "Ja? Who is it? Go away..."

He was just about to hang up before a man spoke, "Eric, you need to get your ass out of bed. And you sound drunk."

"Herr Shaw?"

"Yes, it's Shaw. I take it you had another rough night."

Eric craned his head, surveying his suite aboard Fort Brush. A tangle of sheets, naked women, empty beer bottles, and various articles of clothing were littered about the bed, furniture, floor, and tables. A smile curled up on to his face. "Ja. Rough indeed."

"Well get a pot of coffee, put some pants on, and get down to the docking bay. We have another station-board murder," Shaw sounded bored. Not the usual 'I'm doing my job because I have to bored', but the bored where he didn't want to deal with a man like Eric.

"What's the issue?" Eric looked around, searching for a pair of pants that would actually fit him. He stood up, phone in hand, stepping over the women and the discarded bottles.

"A Junker was found shoved into a dumpster."

Eric halted, looking about even more frantically. "Hang on a sec..." He lowered the phone, speaking loudly to get the womens' attention. "Ladies! Where are my sunglasses!?" A few of them roused, looking about. Checking under sheets, sofa cushions, under counters, and even under the oak dresser.

A woman thrust her hand into the air, a pair of sunglasses in her hand. "Here they are," She said groggily.

"Wunderbar!" He crept over, gently plucking them from her hand. "I shall repay you later." She giggled at that, her face blushing heavily.

The phone was brought back to his ear. "All right, Shaw, give me the line again."

"The what?"

"The line! Give me the line!"

"Ugh...fine...We found a Junker shoved into a dumpster."

"Well it looks he," Eric pulled the sunglasses up, putting them on, "Was junked."

As one, the women screamed, "YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

Shaw hung up without a response.

"THE HULL HAS BEEN BREACHED AND THE SCIENCE IS LEAKING OUT!"

[Dejavu]

*Shaw put the phone back into one of his uniform pockets. He looks over and surveys the scene.*

"Well damn, looks like someone really took out the trash this time. Jenkins, what do we think happened here?"

*A small man looks up from over the garbage can.*

"Well sir, looks like he was raped, stabbed, shot, mulched, hung, and shocked. But we can't be too certain at this moment. We'll have to take him back to the lab to do further tests."

*Jenkins looked back to the garbage can.*

*Shaw gave out a large sigh.*

"Keep up the good work, Jenkins."

*Shaw shouts to an officer sipping his coffee in the corner.*

"Oi, get back to work! I want a fifty metre perimeter fence around this, no ship is allowed to leave the station unless I say so. Understood, Officer?"

*The Officer chokes on his coffee as he tries to reply.*

"Yes, Sir!"

Travors examined the outside walls of the dumpster for any fingerprints or hair follicles. He found only a single fingerprint, and he took a sample of it with LPI Brand Sample-a-Print tape. He carefully put the sample in a container.

"Yo, Thompson, take these samples back to the Lab on deck 22, the one closest to my office. I've got some more work here to do."

"On it," and with that, Thompson was off, with the samples cradled in a white bag labeled 'Evidence'.

Travors approached Shaw.

"Sir, we should have some type of ID on him, or possibly a lead on a suspect, very soon."

He stood for a moment, thinking about who would want to kill a Junker in such a horrible manner. Shaw nodded at Travors's mini-report. Travors turned towards the blood-stained dumpster, and only looked at it.
