The gangly and wayward youth attached the IV lines and harness to his jump suit. It had been a struggle to find somthing to fit a boy of eleven however the merchandise factor on Cadiz a lady named Conchita Mendez was a sucker for a young faced Corsair with a father like Gentle. Sparta suspected she was another one of Gentles lady 'associates'.

Four years had passed since his father pulled him out of Crete and the madness of the Hostel. Sparta soon approaching his 13th birthday had spent much of his time learning routes around the Omegas and Omicrons travelling with either Gentle or the old man Zeus from the Omega Trading Corporation. His youthfull eyes had seen friends destroyed and he lost a hand in a fire onboard Gentles gunboat very recently. Nerve damage was extensive and he still suffered agonising pain. His father had comissioned a crystaline metal cybernetic hand that had cost almost as much as his first ship. the 'Gift' from Gentle contained a unique flaw which marked the boy with the symbolic [OPG] tag.

2 years of simulated flight had not prepared the boy for his first encounter with the Outcasts. Sat in the gunnery control position on gentles Gunboat a hull breach had sparked a fire underneath the gunnery position. Locked into the seat and pulgged into the gunnery control via a neural plug he had been helpless as the fire spread. His Father had let the boy burn while he steered the gunboat from the mealstrom of Outcast scum. For a while Sparta hated the man. The days of agonising pain and soul searching had resulted in a hardening of the boy. He looked upon gentle now and realised. 'While im flying OPG ships im nothing more than another amigo' mused the boy. 'your one mercenary evil sonofa bitch father' The boy grinned.

Sparta closed the airlock on his centurion and prepared himself for his first solo patrol.

"Sparta..... get your arse out here you little dock rat scum. Your patrol is cancelled" Came the voice of the imperious Gentle.

"What! your kidding. You stupid old man do you realise how much I need this to show those idiots back at Crete Im a true OPG..... damn you Gentle your a pustule of rancid anal boils" Exclaimed the youth.

"Stop you foul mouthed bitching and get out here. Your mothers transport was intercepted in Omega 41. Hessian's may have captured her. So if you want to do something get your ship in space NOW!" Demanded the father of the youth.

"yes...... right........ ok father im launching now" stammered the shocked youth.

"Good now you have your wits about you stop worrying. Its not the first time we have had to rescue your mother.... or you for that matter."

Spartas ship undocked and joined the formation.

Gentle cradled his head in his hands. His boy Sparta had escorted the gunboat carrying the boys mother back to Crete. Gentle didnt have time to recall the brief but eventfull battle with the Hessians. The boy had made him proud that was enough.

The visions had begun to come back to him recently. After an accident when he was Spartas age Gentle had received a huge electric shock from a faulty power relay coil on board a transport ship. Something had been damaged in the brain of the pirate. He recalled the day he woke up in the medical bay with his head feeling like a red hot poker through his eyeballs. That was the first time the visions had hit him. gentle remembered that first vision with clarity an image of his mother as she was being assaulted by the captain of the smuggling ship he was on. The image showed the boy approaching the captain with a home made knife in his hand. The captain of the trading ship remained unaware of the menace approaching him from behind began to rip clothes from the boys mother. In the vision the boy used the knife to rip the throat out of the catain. Blood gushing from his neck like a crimson geyser. Gentle stabbed and stabbed until he collapsed. Days later after fashioning a knife for himself the events had been borne out. The attack on Gentles mother began and he was there with the knife. The man died at the hands of the youth gentle.

Many years had passed and gentle had never recovered his full cognitive ability he could never quite focus on the here and now as part of his brain always remained in the future. His curse and ability had proved usefull in fights and space battles often giving him insights that aided him in deciding his opponents next move. Gentle had surrendered several emotions as part of that accident. his sense of fear was completely removed and his ability to feel love was reduced to a glimmer. For a long time Gentle felt like an empty shell untill he realised there was one emotion left to him that he could harness. Rage. A fury had always been present within the boy and the accident had heightened this Rage. gentle carried a fury with him every day of his life and it bore down on the remnant of his soul and forced his had to violence over and over. Gentle felt no remorse, conscience or regret only a sense of releif when the fury had passed and his opponent had fallen to the volatile agression that unleashed from him.

Recently new visions had begun to assault his mind. He woke each day with an image of a burning man etched across his vision. Today was different the image had spoken out to him. Had reached out to his mind and called him Hermano. The voice in his head was like a roll of thunder and awoke something in Gentle. A desire to protect this being. "I am Angelfire Hermano"

Gentle awoke abruptly. The vision clearing slowly from his mind he reached for the whisky. Whisky had been the one thing to give him some release from the visions. Gentle decided to seek the advice of the old woman at Cadiz base he had come to know as Blood Oracle.

Gentle cut his arm deeply with the crystal shard the old woman had offered him as part of the ceremony. gentle sat among the candles naked and let his blood flow across the floor onto the sand she had formed into a cirlce. The old woman spat on hm several times then began to rub his blood across her face. Soon she started to sway and gibber like a fool outcast with no cardamine. Gentles head exploded with pain and the vision of the burning soul of Angelfire spread across his mind like a flood. "HERMANO YOU SHOULD NOT SEEK ME IN THIS WAY. NOW IS NOT THE TIME. THE ORACLE CANNOT HELP YOU IN TIME WE WILL MEET". "Why are you speaking to me?" "YOU ARE AN ELDER"

gentle awoke on the floor of the circle covered in his own blood. The old woman cowered in the corner of the room. Her brittle body was bent and appeared to have been burned. her singed hair had left an acrid smell in the room.

"Wait Gentle" croacked the old woman. "That being is dangerous Senor. I have known since you were a child that one day your visions would have a purpose. If you seek this being then you must use caution. It knows not yet its purpose. You may be one of the few people who can unlock this purpose but at what cost I cannot say." The old woman passed into unconsciousness.

Gentle picked her up from the floor and placed her upon the nearby bed in her hovel.

"I must find him"

The pirate set out for the hanger containing his Titan.

Gentle smiled as the fat whore placed herself on his manhood. He didnt know why it was funny to see something that big up there but he smiled anyway. He thought of all of the beautifull women who had filed the divorce papers. The smile went from his face as she began to bounce. His son had died. Died to protect him from the hessians who sought to wipe out the leader who opposed them in the Omegas. Sparta had flown his centuion into the path of the sunslayer that was destined for Gentles ship.

Gentle looked up at the woman who was clearly trying to please him and wondered who he was and why he was here. this bordello was notorious in cadiz and Gentles account here was legendary. he had tried just about everything. At that point the bed broke. Gentle left cybernetic leg which was tied to the fat womans thigh came off as the four poster bed went thought the floor and separated from the rest of the building.

Gentle continued to drop into the next room and hit the floor which gave way without much cause for complaint.
Laughter erupted as he landed on a woman who was in the process of drinking a pint of whisky. His second leg fell off and the whore landed outside with a noise that sounded like WHOMP!

The corsair wench drinking the whisky punched gentle in the face and said "You sad Forker. This is from your wives...." She handed Gentle a writ of divorce authorised by the corsair council.

"ha ......ha ha.........haaaa haaaaaa hahahahah hahahahah hhahhahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa. Oh god .....YES there IS a god I think......thankyou...haha hhhhhaaaaaaaaaa. " gentle was divorced...... free ......... and completely stripped of his worldly goods. He smiled as his hand dropped down to find he had no legs left. The second cyber limb had dropped into the lap of the wench who was scowling at him. "Senor gentle I should kill you now...." Alexa Cordova pointed her gun at him. Gentle stuck his finger in the end and grinned. "Senorita you should make love to me while I am weak. I swear this isnt the last time you will see me legless but its the only chance you get to use my manhood...." Gentle slipped into a nightmare and thought of his sons death. Death at the hands of anyone was too good for him...... he was a failure... a theif.... a petty and indescriminate criminal........"


Gentle awoke. "ARE YOU KIDDING" he shouted "Im a MOTHER F&*ING CORSAIR not some kind of wanna be saint. You bitches are all sacked an by the whisky thats in my blood im gonna do some MURDER!"

Gentle punched himself in the face and shot a hole in the wall with his blaster...."Get my frikkking legs over here you goddam stupid whores ans tell my wives if they divorce me ill murder their whokle goddam familes WHO THE FU&* DO THEY THINK THEY ARE?"

Gentle smiled for real.


This wouldnt be the first time. Or the last. he looked for a leg.

Time dwindles for the Pirate as he watches his 'Contributions' column on his finance report. There had been a steady downward trend in the financial contributions since his old Hermano Zeus had been bought out by the conglomerate that had been bank rolled by his 27 wives. Those devious wenches had decided to hit the wily pirate where it hurt. Gentle had heard the rumours that the OTC had been bought out last week and much of the OTC profit margin had been diverted into a whore house project. Those wenches had decided to cut him out. "Goddam sly bitches!" Gentle grinned.

Gentle opened the file marked "VenganzaDelLaPuta" tactical and pictorial reports of an IMG albatross with Junker affiliation sat looking at him. This was a fully loaded and operational battlecruiser with a real hardcore weapons loadout. "What the hell are you playing at esmerelda?" Gentle wondered.

The pirate punched the comms channel open with stealth call enabled. He dialled in the communications panel of the admirals cabin on the venganza. MEEEEEP!

"Hola........ Who ees this......amigo sweetch on your comms panel" Came the comely voice.

Gentle flipped his visual systems on.

"Now then my lovely......whos been a clever little sausage." gentle smirked at the now shocked face of his first wife. "Ah husband..... I wondered when you would be calling." "Indeed well then it will be no surprise that I am now expecting substantial donations from your newly aquired whore house and from the rest of the OTC which appears to have been bankrolling your entire Albatross venture. Tell me.... I am very curious how you managed to acquire that IMG vessel?" Gentles eyes bored into the loveless whore.

"Husband you know that i have my ways of persuading men. I always have and its why you married me. I am very close to one of the officials in the researcha dn development teams at IMG. VERY CLOSE and on a regular basis." Gentle grimaced. "How exactly do you intend to use this battlecruiser Senora before I order its destruction for flying in our skies?"

"You stupid eediot..... Can you see no further than your own manhood....gah! For months now the OTC transports have been intercepted by gunboats and cruisers in liberty as well as the persistent attacks by battleships in Delta. Corsairs presence there will form open warfare however the OTC will now have a capital vessel to support our smuggling operation. Piloted by your own wifes... the crulest and most sadistic and coold hearted bitches on crete. You should be proud of our endeavour." The heaving bosom of the wench enthused Gentle.

"Hmm.... perhaps I will come and 'Inspect' your vessel. Check it over so to speak. Get into its nooks and crannies and give it the once over" Gentle chuckled. "But you will begin to syphon considerable funds back to the OPG from the trading operations or I will gut you like a pig."Gentles enthused face turned bleak. "Make what money you will from the wifes and your little whore house venture I have always respected your intent to lie with other men. Now that this ship is acquired make sure you return OTC funding to bankrolling the OPG or your ship will be blown apart by bomber squadron headed up by Alexa and Asno. Do you understand?"

"Si senor.... eet is aaaal good no? You have your funding back. We have our whore house and a stake in the OTC. And you get to come and 'Inspect' every nook and cranny. I look forward to your inspection soon husband.

Gentle cut the comms and grinned. He felt his blood stirring and decided to make the inspection sooner rather than later. "Raz.......RAZ! get me the location of the venganzaDelLaPuta now amigo I need to take care of someone.....er something."
