From the desk of His Imperial Majesty, Jien Kogen Emperor of Kusari
Konnichiwa Admiral Voelkel,
As per our earlier conversation via subspace channels, I would like to formally invite a delegation of representatives of the government of Rheinland to Kusari for a summit meeting dealing with a host of issues of importance to both Kusari and Rheinland. I have decided to hold this summit at my winter palace on Planet Kyushu, you will find no more beautiful view of an ocean in all of Sirius. I would also like to invite representatives of the Rheinland corporations to a separate meeting, also at my winter palace. This meeting will include representatives of the Rheinland and Kusari corporations, as well as government officials from Kusari and Rheinland with the aim of increasing trade and expanding convoy security in Rheinland and Kusari.
In these troubled times, the historic friendship between Rheinland and Kusari is even more important, and a garden which is never tended only grows weeds. This meeting is long overdue, as I have not gotten a chance to meet you and get to know you as I have with some of your predecessors. I hope to fix that, and have scheduled a fair amount of time for the two of us to talk without advisers.
Pending approval of the GMG, which I believe will be quickly coming, I would like to tentatively schedule the meeting for Monday the seventeenth. A first round of meetings would be held on the seventeenth, followed by a state dinner. A second round of meetings would be held on the eighteenth, followed by a private dinner for the two of us, and a formal ceremony to end the talks. As I said this is all tentative, and I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Sehr geehrter Herr Kogen, Emperor of Kusari,
I am honored by your invitation and I am of course, willing to accept it. The recent happenings that concern both of our Houses are indeed dire and we trust that this formal meeting will be a good sign of tightened cooperation in the future.
I will prepare my command cruiser, the Seydlitz for the meeting and assign escort vessels for its protection. A committee, consistent of my most trusted officers, will be assembled until Monday. I would also like to request an exact time frame when you can honor us with your reception so everything can be arranged with utilizing precision.
Thank you in advance.
Hochachtungsvoll,
Admiral Alec Voelkel,
Oberkommando der Rheinland Militär.
