If Glasgow had more people we'd have total war here, it's the same all over Britain where booze fueled football rage run rampant. That reminds me why I avoid pubs too, which brings me to my next advice - try to stay sober as much as you can, especially in a foreign country where you don't know your way around.
' Wrote:So, I'm off travelling in... 20 odd days. I leave the 12th of February and I plan on getting back to the UK in September ish.
I'm starting in Melbourne, Australia, and then move to Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth before flying up to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Then, I move north up to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, before popping over briefly to the Philippines to see Seanne (Saxophile).
Then I fly from Kuala Lumpur (I'll be heading back down there) to Dhaka in Bangladesh, before making my way to New Delhi, where I'll fly into Turkey (I want to not travel through the current wars). From there I make my way through Europe back to the UK.
So, do any of you live in these countries? Can you suggest any good places to visit? Stay? Eat? Any and all information is gratefully received!
