Prowler, while I understand perfectly where you're coming from, until we get this sorted and know exactly which player factions have shipping rights, you should probably stay away from my Ageira VHF;)
He shoots at people who aren't authorised to carry, and don't drop the cargo.
Though, I'm not sure it's adequate to compare H-Fuel with Gate/Lane Parts. Everyone wants and needs fuel*, whereas the Parts are a very specialised piece of technology, with only three gate construction sites currently in Sirius, and few Lane construction areas.

*except Gallia, which appears to be still running on crude oil. In space. Which implies they landed on planets which supported organic life millions of years ago. Odd, indeed.

Please, Faction Leaders, we'd like to get this sorted ASAP.

The fact that everyone needs fuel didn't make GMG toss their hands in the air and give away the Sigmas to the entire public. You made a fail argument.

edit add: I'll repeat the same warning I received 2 yrs ago when I was gonna enforce our monopoly and shoot everyone except GMG and Kishiro carrying our H-fuel: "If you don't want people to buy and sell your commodity we will reduce it's price to make it undesirable for anything but RP". What this means is you can still move around your commodity and keep the monopoly and it will even be more believable since anyone trying to trade with it will only make 1 credit profit per unit and thus wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. I ain't kidding, I got that warning and I assume that any other attempt to go full out in preventing people from trading with a commodity will receive the same.

Their ID allows them to do so though Prowler. So the developers are allowing it. The only thing I can say is prepare for in RP consequences for being criminals for shooting lawful traders if the trader is smart enough to report you to the law. Seeing as it isn't illegal in any of the houses to carry the stuff, even if Agiera doesn't like it.

Anyways, I don't think that is the exact topic of this thread so I'll jettison now. Good luck sorting all this out.

Interspace doesn't sell the parts.
The reason the Parts are for sale there is because Ageira uses the IC bases to store the parts for repairs within the respective houses, rather than bringing them all the way from Pueblo.

Interspace can move them only because of a contract between the Player Factions.


As for monopoly, I see where you're coming from Prowler, but H-Fuel is sold all over Sirius, even if it is second hand stuff. It's not an exclusive commodity, as -everyone- needs it.

G/L Parts on the other hand, are manufactured in one place and one place only. Their movement and handling is very closely watched and highly restricted. We can enforce this monopoly in game, because via the rules we demand them from lawfuls.

I don't see where there's a difference to Prowlers case, really.

Maybe fuel isn't produced in just one place but in 4, yet 3 of them are controlled by the GMG and the last one by Samura (even though the selling station belongs to the KSP) who are even more jealous about other people getting profit out of their stuff. And Vanilla lore has a lengthy background story on how the H-Fuel was monopolized long ago too.

he fundamental aspect that NOONE ELSE uses Gate/Lane Parts but Ageira.
Only we have a use for them, legally at least.
