Earth, 200 million years B.C., Solar system witnessed one of the prime ages of life. The Dinosaurs, evolved from the first reptiles, ruled the lands of the Earth. They were giant and tiny creatures, some were smart, some were powerful. As time passed and the evolution went on, a new race arose among the Dinosaurs - the Dragons. With the breath of Fire, the skin of Earth, the wings of the strongest Winds and above all: the power of Intelligence - a far step of evolution that no other life form had ever had, they became the rulers of the Earth.
That was the time when their flights across Great Ocean were seen, their thousand-mile roars were heard. Led by the High Council of Dragon Flights, they had built their own Empire, their own Civilization. Their power of mind was as strong as a later species of Earth - the Humans. They had grown, they had prospered, had flourished, until a great Incident happened which cause the Dragons unable to rebuild their lost Empire.
File 2:Massive Extinction and the new species
65 million years B.C., a Cataclysm forced almost every life forms of Earth to the edge of extinction. The Dinosaurs vanished into the thousand-year shadow that prevented sun lights to reach the surface of the Earth. But the Dragons survived though their Empire was in ruins. That was when the first Evils appeared - the lost souls of the dead, with a hunger of Death and Destruction, desires to unlive the Livings and undead the Deads.
They lurked in the darkest corners of the Earth, waiting for a day to overthrow all orders.
Millions more years went by, the Evils grew stronger and stronger by absorbing souls of dead creatures. The High Council of Dragon Flights eventually knew of those Evils' existence, but considered them no more than a little problem since they lack intelligence and mind power to pose a real threat. But all changed, the Ice Age arrived with a new race of little but very smart creatures, walking on two feet, straight-standing, speaking and knowing how to use Fire and Tools. They even learned to understand Nature, all those abilities was only seen in Dragons before. And the Evils awoke.
File 3:The Great War
10,000 B.C., the first Civilizations of humans came to their Golden Age, they had learned much more, had grown much stronger, had built the great cities with the help of their new allies: the Dragon Flights. They worshiped their Gods and feared the Evils, and they knew the Dragons as the Guardians of the Earth.
The Humans' societies were too complicated, they had many wars, ruled by tyrants, committed many sins and brought many hatreds, some of them made their living by ruining others', they even learned Evils knowledge... The more sins the Humans committed, the more of their souls was given to Evils. Silently but effectively, the Evils corrupted the ancient empires from the inside. Their first goal was then reached, and they started to prepare for the total consumption. Panicked and feared, the Humans fought against the Evils with their hope to stand alive. The Great War began.
Cities became Ruins, crop fields burned into ashes. Taken by surprise, the Humans stand no chance against the Darkeneds and the Fallens, they called for help. The Dragons responded and sent their mighty flights to aid the Humans. Ultimate power of Dragons rebalanced the scale of battles, the War turned to be a long lasting torment. Numerous battles were fought between two forces, finally the Alliance gained the upper hand and threw all its forces into the Offensive against the Evils Lords at the Portals. During the battle, a Witch doctor managed to curse the Great Black dragon before his own death. The Black dragon went mad and ordered his flight to destroy anything that moved, killing many surprised dragons. Even though, the Alliance still managed to destroy all Evils' summoning Portals; Isolated from the force of Hell, the Evils Lords were destructed and victory came to the Alliance at last, along with nearly unbearable casualties.
But the dragons never recovered from the losses. Shocked and Betrayed, the Flights scattered to parts of the world, and choose to live far from Humans, far from Evils. They fell into oblivion.
File 4:The last age - Cyber Dragon Project
Time passed and the Humans forgot their old Alliance, forgot the Dragons. From the ruins and ashes of the Great War, they rebuilt their world, their civilization, worshiped their new Gods though many of them no more believed in godlike powers. Unlike the ancient Emperors who had trusted the Dragons to guard their secrets and treasuries, the new human leaders were shocked when people ran to them with fear, and told them about giant lairs with fire breathing creatures. The Kings ordered their bravest people to hunt and kill those dangerous creatures, and humans Knights and Bounty Hunters set out to hunt and slay the Dragons, in the name of Kings. The angry dragons flied to villages and cities, burned the houses and fields as a warn to humans. Tension rose and became a bloody war, human knights swore to slay the Dragons to the last one and they did, by all means possible.
But before the Dragons faded into darkness, the Dragon Elders had decided to build an archive to store and protect all Dragons history, knowledge and culture. The archive consists of two parts: The Cyber Dragon and the Machine Dragon. The Cyber Dragon is a cybernetics unit, the brain, that contains all data and directives of the archive, it also has the abilities to learn, self-clone, think and decide. The Machine Dragon is a massive bio-mechanic body with enormous power to protect the brain and destroy any threat to the archive. The construction was completed and the two part was sealed in their chambers, waiting for one day a rise or something find them.
Some more thousand years passed... the Humans once again had a great war among themselves, but this time, conflicts had expanded beyond the boundaries of Earth. The space age marked many important events, the humans power of Innovation and also their power of Destruction... One of the bombardments woken the Cyber Dragon. Activated for the first time, the Cyber Dragon scanned all the structures around him and looked for the body. But the Machine Dragon's chamber was empty, only traces left was IDs of some computers that had managed to hack into the chamber security system and disabled it, Cyber Dragon later know the computers were of French Military force, the MD was gone.
Using all information collected from "Coalition's" computer networks, Cyber Dragon found out that the French "sleeper ship" with all remaining French people of the "Alliance" - Gallia ship - had escaped Solar system and headed to another location in the "Milky Way" galaxy. With the directive to combine with the Machine Dragon, Cyber Dragon started to learn all possible from Coalition's computers. After successfully hacked a Coalition factory's system, he gained the control of the factory and started to build a spaceship to follow Gallia. Before the Coalition's force could find the intruder, Cyber Dragon had installed him self into the ship and launched it into space, headed to Sirius sector and left no trace behind.

The spaceship reached the Edge nebula of Sirius and stopped there. It was in fact a large mobile station capable of mining, manufacturing, storing and building small ships - Coalition fighters. The station slowly moved toward the core of Sirius sector, built more and more fighters for recon missions and defense of itself. Suddenly, when the mobile station reached an asteroids field which was filled with alien artifacts, numerous UFOs approached and began hostile actions.

Cyber Dragon's fighter were soon outnumbered and outgunned. In the very milliseconds before alien missiles hit the unprotected hull of the ship, Cyber Dragon aimed his long-range scanners at the most life-populated areas among the stars of Sirius. Scan showed 6 results. The 4 more populated are at 2 pairs of wars but also have crime committing within themselves - the signs of Evils, the 2 less ones were at both ends of the Edge nebula, also at war but much closer and little sign of Evils. But one was filed with creatures that had strange DNA structure and the other had humans with naturally-filtered DNA matching Cybernet data.
Having enough experiences with aliens, Cyber Dragon made his decision. The ship made a blind jump into the selected system.
Upon entering the system, Cyber Dragon's ship encountered a fight between two group of fighter, one from the nearby planet and one from a guild called Bounty Hunters Guild. No hesitate, Cyber Dragon fired all guns and turrets on Hunters' ship, regarding them as Enemies of Dragons. When the fight was over, Edge world fighters halted Dragon's ship and opened a communication channel.
"This is Corsairs patrol Gamma 6 to Unknown ship: turn off your weapons and identify yourself."

"Greetings Corsairs, this is Cyber Dragon controlled ship. I come in peace. I was attacked by aliens and had to jump into your system. My ship is slightly damaged. I don't want any hostile action. Requesting permission to change attitude to friendly and to dock with your base for repairing."

"We don't trust stranger but since you did get us out of a tight spot, we shall take you to Skiros station. Don't ever try to do anything stupid or the only thing left of you will be pieces floating in space."
A Corsairs' "Titan" class VHF set off to Planet Curacao with 50 units artifacts in its cargo. As the ship crossed Canterbury station, it received many transmissions expressing *surprise* from the ships at planet Dover crossroads, they saw a Corsairs ship in New London, a ship that had no pilot. Light years away in a factory on planet Crete, Cyber Dragon was controlling the fighter. A wave of many transmissions from all Sirius caused high loss and lag to the control signal, but the Titan traveled to Cortez safe and sound.
Now the Cyber Dragon works for the Corsairs, thanks to captain Obia "le Chef" - patrol Gamma 1, whose words have helped Dragon to establish a friendly connection to the Corsairs Empire. Cyber Dragon's utility ship is now part of Skiros station, acting as hangar, part of shipyard and industrial module. Cloned himself into three: one on Crete, one at Tripoli and one at Skiros, now Cyber Dragon acts as AI control of the station, repairs ships and does daily ships killing or assassinating missions for Gamma. The earnings are enough for him to repair and upgrade himself as well as to build his own ships. He tries to be as friendly as possible to any human he meets with the goal to get information about Gallia and the Machine Dragon, sometimes he has his ship smuggle artifacts to bring supplies back for the Empire and also to gather more information.
The lost of Brain Upgrade Mk II - Flights to new worlds
Eventually the Cyber Dragon had more things to concern and more data to process... business, contacts, transmissions, news of Gallia... and the further the flights of his ships are, the more disruption of connection he has to deal with. To lessen ping and prevent high loss and ION storm effects on his ships, cyber Dragon decided to repair his Brain Upgrade Mk I, which was damaged in Nomads encounter before, and enhance it to Brain Upgrade Mk II.
He made contact with some cybernetics labs on planet Curacao and bought additional materials from the Junkers in Trafalgar base. The Titan fighter flied to Cortez, delivered materials and the BU I to an OSC cybernetics lab. The BU II was then successfully crafted and was ready for installation. The Titan took off and started follow the way points back to Crete, carrying the BU II and 50 units of Food rations. The flight was quite silent and relaxing until 2 BAF pilots appeared and pursuited the Titan in New London. cyber Dragon decided to take alternate route through Dublin and Omega-40s to avoid BAF ships and incoming reinforcements. When there was only 10K left to Omega-49 jump hole, suddenly a Freelancer ship disrupted the Titan's engines with a CD and dropped it to impulse speed.

Then the Titan dropped 20 units of Food and re-engaged Cruise engine, but the Freelancer shot another CD, and said: "I'm not done with you yet."
"Now what?"
Both ships thrusted and jousted each other,. Two Coalada del Cids rippep the Talon's shield off in a second, 4 Salamanca Mk II on and a Sunslayer torpedo directly hit the Talon's hull, leaving it under 10% of health as the two ship passed and turned for a new joust. The regens system of the Talon quickly brought it back to full health when the Titan made its shield down again, the Salamancas also did quite a good work, one more torpedo and the Freelancer would be fried.
At that moment, an IMG gunboat flied by Appollyon approached and offered help to Anna.McCarthy. There it went, the IMG kept the Titan's shield down while the Talon fired repeatedly on the bare hull. Appollyon later gave Dragon a few seconds to withdraw his ship, but the Dragon knew that the Freelancer wouldn't let the ship go in one piece. Few seconds later, the dragon was like "nnnoooooooooo!" as the Titan fell into pieces, floating in Dublin space. The Brain Upgrade Mk II was lost along with the Titan and all cargo hold.

Since that day, Cyber Dragon's ships have been frequenting near Dublin system and had engaged many battles. Without BU Mk II, the Titans had no advantages against Mollys, IMG and Outcasts' capital ships patrolling the system, so he decided to replace the Titans with the new built Praetorian class bombers to encounter them. But most of the time, his ship fly alone as he could control only one at a time, and usually find his bomber in the duel 1 vs 1 with enemies' gunboat or cruiser. The more ships he dispatched into Dublin, the more ships he lost. In addition, he could not locate Anna.McCarthy nor her convoy. After repeatedly failed attempts, Cyber Dragon decided to put off the operation and began exploring flights to find more allies, as well as new equipments and improve combat skills, and try to find a way to Gallia.
The flights to Omicron Delta identified the strange aliens that attacked Dragon's mobile station - the Nomads, bio-mechanic structure reside in Edge nebula, guarding something unknown. He also met the Order ships and thus found out that there's a path to Gallia in Outcasts space. The other flights to Omegas, Liberty and Kusari led to exploration of many bases and jump holes, Gaians, Farmer Alliance, Hogosha are known as the Empire's allies.
Finally, Cyber Dragon's ship joined a battle in Omicron Eta and then advanced into Outcasts home system, Omicron Alpha. 2 flights were made through Outcasts space, revealing many lost part in the story of Outcasts and Corsairs.
