My friends and I are trying to setup an online server but we cant get it to show up in the server list. We Put the Ip in the dsupdate.cfg file But It Didn't Show up over the net. Theres got to be more to it but i can't figure it out, I followed the readme instructions and did what it told me to do but i'm still stuck. Please Help!

Is the IP in one of the RFC 1918 private address ranges? (10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255, 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255, 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255)
If so, you'll need to set up port forwarding on your router and give them your public IP.

What OS are you using? On Windows Vista/7, you'll need to disable IPv6.

Is the IP you gave them in one of those ranges?

The second doesn't apply as you're using XP.

Sorry I missed this thread. Go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ and send them your IP shown there.
