Characters deleted for unknown reason?

Okay, real life has been getting in my life so I come back after a few months on discovery GC and I just put in my FLID to see that two of my characters are missing. One is No.Remorse, an outcast and the other is [LN]-Arthur.Mark
I had alot of hours on both of these and had spent a good chunk of money too.
Further proof of my Arthur Mark is the LN ensign list.

You haven't played those characters more than 60 days?

60 days is the MAXIMUM amount of time your characters will "survive" without you here ^^ after that they will be deleted.

But I've been inactive for 6 months and still my chars weren't deleted. Why now?

And is there no way to retrieve them?

Server wipes are on and off depending on the size of the character database.

Oh Crap, the same thing obviously happened to my buddies and me.
Couldn't one have sent an eMail, warning about that inactivity-deletion. :wacko:
