It might actually mean the Colada becomes useful instead of being the Corsairs best shield buster that never actually gets used.

correction, as it is now, its the corsairs best energy eater....
And what does this nerf do to the corsairs? As it stand, they are more of less BUILT upon the usage of pulse weapons. The salamancas are hopelessly weak against any shield and thus, i dunno what my sair would do without that shieldbusting power.....
Outcasts got inferno, (which basically is a cruiser pulse cannon) a gun that is NOT pulse but generic damage.
The impact of Corsairs and Gallic factions like Council and Bridgands/Corse which more or less depend on their pulses to be efficient, is just too huge...
If anything, making them all 100% against shields would be the best option. Then rather twist it around and make Transport, Gunboat, Cruiser and Battleship pulses into REAL pulses. That way, the fighters biggest enemy is a bit more well... balanced towards it.....
It is only fair for fighters to have resistance against gunboats with tri razor and pulses... not the other way around....
