We understand security measures are in place to prevent trade in restricted goods, so in part with this, we are seeking immunity for us carrying certain commodities which aid us in our research.

These commodities include:

• Low level counterfeit software

Our studies are cordially aimed towards the alien technologies, and how bio-mechanical as well as organic energies are used. Some of our research experiments require mild dosages of cardimine to stimulate certain test subjects. The counterfeit software is slightly altered university software, used to suit our research.

Good day Sir Jack Fraser,

I can appreciate the concern you have for the nature of our studies, and I will admit that we are seeking a certain clearance not usually obtainable. However our studies in Bretonia are of an information gathering kind, as we have unconfirmed reports of alien anomalies in both Newcastle and out of Edinburgh. We seek to document such findings, and use it to further aid our studies into bio-mechanical entities.

We do not believe you will divulge what information you have on such findings, if you even have them at all officially, so it is our intent to spend our funding on getting the information ourselves.

The conditions on our cargo are not what we will definitely be carrying, but the nature of our work dictates that sometimes we may have specimens and drugs that assist our research on board our vessels.

Our work is of a civilian nature, we try to stick to a total neutral status. We may be based in Liberty, but we intend to research every known reported case of Nomad activity, and our research team is diverse in races so we are not limiting ourselves.

We respect your decision, and understand protocols and trust are a vital matter for the security of the people of Bretonia.

We will look to get the relevant proofs of our legitimacy at best speed.

The rumours of anything occouring inside of Newcastle or Edinburgh are strongly denied as being nothing more than rumours. There are no aberrant, or alien things in either system. Certainly the existence of any such facility is denied, and the matter is closed.

Your vessel must also pass a through inspection, if it is accepted into Bretonian space, and be heavilly escorted at all times. This is not permission to enter, but contingent on our previous requirements.

You are also barred from transit inside the Newcastle system, as the area is classified. Not that anything is occouring there anyway.

Your hostile undertone denounced your opinions flamboyantly. We are mere scholars and yet you received us as we were no better than outlaws. We only requested to go into talks and you flat out denied us.

We are a peaceful enterprise, and therefore we will not break any laws nor will we instigate any hostile act. You can sigh a relief, Fraser, as we won't be playing in your back yard.

Your threats upon a University project from your neighboring allies are just more proof that you have things to hide. And now that you have gone hostile on us, we will discover the truths, we will share the knowledge with those that are eager to learn.

So consider your threats hollow, because we won't jeopardize ourselves and our cargo just so you can blow your own horn. We won't be defying the Crown as we will not be putting ourselves into your hands. You do not want our knowledge, we won't let you get a hold of it.
