for a week or so, I've an idea in mind. I would like to know, if the following commands are possible (theoretically) with FLHook:
addItem <Target>
removeItem <Target>
The usage should be the following: A person payed you an amount of cash and in return he get's a player created, predefined (for now, predefined to not distract) Item.
The item would be like an equipment - means: everytime the player was killed and respawns, the item is still in the ship. It cannot be unmount or sold [or if unsaleable items are not possible, it would be sold for 0 sc and re-appeares if the player starts freelancer again (or changes a char, or ...)].
The only way to remove the item from the player is to use the removeItem command.
1) There is not only one player how can create/remove the item, but a group.
Is the possibility to use the command assignable to other players?
Can a line "create by <player>" be added at the end of the item describtion? (<player> is the name of the char, who uses the addItem command)
2) To avoid metagaming, can the item be hidden for several players?
by name or tag
by ID
by IFF
3) The item is not more predefined.
Can there be a list of predefined items?
Can there be a selfdefined item? (like the /setinfo command, only the description will be changed.) [but maybe this results in problems, after the itemtemplate was deleted and the item should be removed later]
Can the item description be changed by the player/group who used addItem?
