In the olden days, there used to be charming small men that would run about, looking for pots of gold at the ends of rainbows. Often, the would share their gold with their human companions, and were known to grant wishes that the heart most desired.
But today's Leprechauns are different.
Gathered together by the vile Union of Gold, the Leprechauns have launched attacks on traders and law-abiding citizens, claiming:
"Argh! They've stole me gold!"
These Leprechauns range from pirates to terrorists, began a rampage across Bretonia, killing civilians and military officers alike, until the brave men and women of Queen Carina's Royal Fleet and the BPA put a stop to their vile actions.
These actions cannot be tolerated. We will stomp on these little men, and send this clear message to them!
There's NO pot of gold for you to take from Bretonia!

Just yesterday night, the Union of Gold launched a daring but poorly organized and futile attack into Bretonia.
As per BPA tactics, Constable Samuel Vimes wisely retreated to the safety of the HMS Essex as a sizeable fleet of one fighter, two gunboats, and a destroyer headed his way!
According to Mr. Vimes and sources from aboard the Essex, two Molly craft were downed as the Union of Gold flotilla charged at the Battleship, foolishly. Sources report that the fighter pilot was forced to eject, while the Gunboat was so damaged that it needed to be towed back by the combined force of the Destroyer and the other gunboat's tractor beams!
BPA forces suffered no losses.
Again, the Molly threat in Bretonia is growing! Branded Leprechauns by BPA and QCRF officials for their love of gold, the members of the Union of Gold continue their assaults on Bretonian civilians and military personel.
As of today, the Leprechaun threat still stands.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the BPA and the QCRF are out there to protect you. But as a final word of advice...Stay frosty out there!
NEWSFLASH! Leprechauns Like Gold Coloured Objects!

Just today, a UoG fleet, including their flagship, the Proton, launched an attack on two lone Bretonian officers today.
The two brave men withdrew to the HMS Essex from SEVEN Union of Gold vessels.
Again, the UoG charged the Essex, and promptly suffered losses, losing one ship, and the Proton taking heavy damage. After seeing this, the UoG quickly withdrew.
Professors on Cambridge are puzzled at the recent events. For the past several engagements, the UoG constantly had a tendency to charge the Essex, taking heavy losses. Professor Forrester of the BPA's renowned Forensics department has something to share:

Recently, rather than the typical victory reports that the BPA and the QCRF rack up, there have been disturbing reports. No longer are BPA and QCRF officers able to eliminate the Leprechaun threat.
The Leprechauns have been eliminating themselves. Over the past several days, there have been over 5 reports of Leprechauns diving into planet atmospheres, attempting suicide.
