Dont forget that in RP you are sitting inside of it, no matter if its Third person camera, you are the pilot of the ship. Soo yeah, sounds = good 8|

But on my tiny netbook it causes fps fall in big battles (alot oh hi quality sound.)

Man, there sure was alot of exhaust coming out of that battleship... No wonder Leeds is so smoggy.

Some ambient mechanical sounds for battleships would be nice though, even if they arn't the ones used in this video.

Realistically, sound doesn't travel in space.

The sounds to the engine starting were off, HQ sound would be good but also would drop FPS. I'm fine with what we have now.

You do realise that this could potentially alter the entire ship class balance (or rather, lack of) which exists in Disco? But nonetheless, that's the least of my concerns. I'm definitely with the realism side of this community.

On Topic: This has already been talked about before, its a great Idea but it would mess with balancing so much the Dev team wont even try it.

Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.
