In a meeting room two doors down from the ballroom where the conference will be held.
ALEX CUMMINGS SPEAKING:
"OK, good to see you both here, Im gonna go ahead and open this meeting to the two of you first. Ulrich, I want to hear your thoughts, your suggestions, your goals for the company as a whole at this point. Basically, where do we go from here? Wolverine, I want your insights and goals for Black Talon. We need to keep moving, I dont want us to stop until we are the absolute power in Sirius, financially that is. I have got some things I want to discuss with both of you, but I want to hear from both of you first."

ON MY WAY OUT OF RETIREMENT
Ulrich Wagner, Cumming's old friend, pauses pensively weighing his thoughts. Leaning back in his chair he looks at the ceiling with an impassive curiosity. Taking in a sharp breath, he begins...
"Lately things have been up and down. The good things mostly belong to Wolverine's people. In terms of the shipping department, we are not doing as well. Employment levels are looking as low as they've been since you brought me aboard. I can blame this on a downturn in the local economy, but only partly. Fact is that since the attempt on your life people have been less certain of RepEx. Seeing her top man taken down shook our hold on the shipping sector, especially with competitors like Luthor Corp standing by to offer an alternative. Men working for us have also left for fear of more Corsair attacks, though it was never proven that they were responsible. The point is, we need to take back our market."
The last sentence resonates sharply in the ears of everyone in the room
"I think we need to branch off, take up other opportunities. There is more to do than just ship freight in Sirius, and now that RepEx has gone public we need to expand aggressively. In this regard, I can speak positively of your intentions with Black Market and Hamburg Mutual. In addition we should promote heavily in getting shippers back on the payroll."
At this point Ulrich hesitates for a moment, considering if he should proceed...
I... I have more to say... and not just about RepEx Shipping either. But I'll get to that once Wolverine has had his say.
Ulrich Wagner settles back into his chair and his impassive stare and rolls his eyes to peer at Wolverine in his periphery.
Sanguinius clears his throat, gentlemen you must really call me by my proper name. Alex it's nice to see you back at the helm, As you know with the loss of our previous CEO of the Talons, I was sort of thrust into this role.
Having looked at the role call, I find we have 8 pilots I can count on for combat specific missions. I have issued a tempoary order to the Talons to go back to escorting the shipping fleet. I also authorised the use of cash escorts for none RepEx shipping, we need to keep the money rolling in.
I believe we should formalise our military wing, giving them a rank structure, and something to aim for, after all these guys are on the front line in the war against pirates.
Sanguinius looks at the pair, trying to gauge opinion
If we go along this line should we standardise the fighter wing, and have everyone fly the same ship. I know most come from a mercenary background and are used to flying whatever they can afford. I also note the pirates generally use Gunboats for their activities, an increase in the bomber fleet should be consider.
