Bretonians, we've now experienced the extent of Rheinland aggression and greed, and their use of violence and military force to seize it, twice. But as vile as their behavior is, we are not the only ones who've suffered from their machinations. We have fought the Rheinlanders only sporadically, but there are those who have fought them daily for decades, attempting to win their freedom through blood, sweat, and tears.

These same people have been our enemies in the past. We the law of Snowdown, and they the revolutionaries trying to attack Rheinland trade in that system. It was only due to our own adherence to law and our protection of Rheinland's corporate trade that resulted in the hostility between ourselves and the Rheinland's revolutionary group, the Red Hessians.

These Hessians have fought tooth-and-nail against Rheinland for decades, rebelling against the greedy and oppressive governmental and corporate policies that rule their nation. Along with this, they too fight the Corsairs who seek to take Cambridge from us. There is no reason for fighting each other. We have both realized this.

This is why I, on behalf of the War Cabinet, and as representative of the House of Lords in Parliament, make the following announcement;

As of this day, the fifth of June, 819 A.S., the Empire of Bretonia officially recognizes the Red Hessian Revolutionary Movement as a legitimate organization.
